I don't blame them for closing it, but it is going to be a giant clusterf**k trying to find parking tomorrow.

With mostly great game-day weather for all of our home games.

This time of year especially, the kind of damage that can be done to the golf course with parking is beyond calculation, and unless the ground is frozen solid as a rock, the risk is great.

I'm hopeful that the folks that usually park cars in their yards will be doing so. I actually asked the guy whose house I frequently park at for football games and he said he was planning on it.  Of course, that was before we got a couple inches of snow on the ground last night. So folks will, some won't is my guess.

I haven't cleared this with the spousal-unit yet, but I plan on opening up my lawn to cars tomorrow.  (Hopefully the yard won't look like a mogul playground afterwards.)  I can fit all of 8 cars so I won't make much of a dent in demand though...

I assume other neighbors will as well, but it's probably wise to leave extra time for parking.   If it rains, the parking situation could get really ugly, though less people may show up for the game.

U know for being an avid golfer and golf enthusiast, normally seeing people and cars all over a golf course would make me cringe and want to kill a kitten.  However having tailgated there several times they do an excellent job of trying to protect the course the best they can.  Maybe this is because im looking through my maize and blue goggles and feel as if Michigan football is much more important at that time, but regardless they try the best they can.  So seeing this announcement makes me happy in a way however parking will be a nightmare.  Yeah good luck with that.
