Golf Course parking for ND game info?
Are there any insiders out there that have info regarding parking on the golf course for the night game? I am wondering what time they will open the golf course. We obviously have never had a night game before so I don't have previous experience to go off from. Any help would be appreciated.
...speaking from my previous experience at a night game in AA....

P.S. - You are going to have to call the golf course and ask.
I doubt anyone that answers the phone at the golf course would have knowledge of this but thanks anyways.
...and they were still thinking about it, but had decided to open at the regular time (8am I believe).
I emailed the people in charge of Pioneer parking last week, they informed me that they will open at their regular time which is 6 am.
my liver hurts but is excited about it at the same time
How about you email the guy on the AAGO website and ask him when the gates will open:

If he tells you a time please post it so everyone knows.
thanks for the helpful reply. I was unaware there was a website devoted to parking on the golf course. Anyways, I have emailed him and I will post his response.
That guy is a real jerk. I'll be taking my parking $ elsewhere this season. Anyone park at UofM golf course last year?
The UM golf course is 10x better than AAGO. I tailgated there for the Iowa game last year for the 1st time. Prior 4 years I parked @ AAGO when tailgating. Long story short, they charge $10 less, they don’t pack you in like sardines, they’ll let you save as many spaces as you want for stragglers in your group, and they could care less if you back into your spot and/or pull into your spot to setup shop. This coupled with the parking attendants being so much more cordial and helpful it’s an easy choice. Not sure if there’s more entrances, but I enter off South Main which is basically 75 yards before the entrance to AAGO so the added walking distance is a mute point IMO.
UM golf course is where I usually park and wanted info for. I use the state st entrance. There is also a stadium blvd entrance. State St opens at 7am usually but I was wondering if the ND game being a night game would cause them to open later to limit the amount of drinking time before the game.
3 weeks before they will know.
I usually park at AAGO and now want to park at UMGC, but am concernded that we will have to walk around AAGO when going to the game.
Is there a fence separating the two courses, or can you walk through AAGO from the UMGC?
There is only a split rail fence separating the courses. So walking to the stadium through AAGO will work.

Do you have to park at the golf course to tailgate or can you park elsewhere walk in and mingle?
You don't have to park at AAGO to walk through/mingle. I really enjoy the pre-game atmosphere walking through AAGO and the UofM course, but I've never parked there myself.
