Not really, Canadians always give credit to the other team's goalie whenever their team doesn't dominate. I've watched HNIC on CBC for many years and whenever a Canadian team loses on HNIC they usually always give the #1 star of the game to the other team's goalie. It's their hockey elitist way of saying "You got lucky!"

There was no mention of Jerome Iginla afterwards. The assist on the game winning goal, a future hall of famer, perhaps the best forward on Canada's team, and no mention.
