Don't look now, but Sparty is about to put us back in the Legends Division driver's seat. It's so great to cheer for Sparty, our team having made them inconsequential to the season other than serving Michigan's interest. They must be terribly conflicted over at RCMB.
Go Sparty, Beat Big Red
TO BOLIVIA SC WOLVERINE.
annnd right on cue you jinx it, fuckhead
On a side note, it's odd to experience this SPARTY NO! --grasping defeat from the claws of victory, business myself. I can see why they have no fans at the game
...language; be nice man! My kids use my phone & read everything... :)
Seriously, though: Anyone see the personal foul on the pick-six return? Where was it? Must've been way off screen. Sparty: Noooo!!!
They are shiting the bed right now too!
annnd right on cue, Notre Dame gets to the red zone
EDIT: ok, my anti jinx worked
Don't be superstitious, boys. Believe in our destiny.
"Destiny" is just as superstitious as jinxing.
I do agree that the obsession with jinxing on this site is a little embarrassing. It's not a thing.
This is starting to have the look of a major letdown for Sparty.
If this thread jinx Sparty I'm going to start a couch fire
The MSU offense just looks tragic out there. I know that they'll improve somewhat with age, but I have a hard time expecting them to be competent next year barring some dramatic maturation by Maxwell and the offensive line.
Maxwell seems pretty solid - receivers can't catch anything.
If the spartans lose enjoy bolivia
Please hold on!!
Don't blow this game.
I hate to say it, but this game has a Sparty NO! ending all over it.
Sparty could have iced the game with the pick six that was called back. What a Sparty, No! moment
If you actually believe in jynxes, I feel sorry for you
If you (or your Walmart flip phone) can't spell jinx, I feel sorry for you.
Too much pokemon in my childhood I fear. But seriously, the concept of a *jinx* belies all human logic. Would you not agree?
...that was probably a good call but it gave us the shot to win. Now he calls 2 in a row to leave Neb sooo much time? Wow. Raucher really is atrocious.
I can hear Valente Monday already! :)
Did anyone see the personal foul on the pick six called back? Must've been way out of the play?
Random block by Adams (#5) a good 20-30 yards behind the play
Thanks. ACK! Total Sparty Nooo!!!
Pitt is in full on meltdown mode
Narduzzi's NCAA violation with the chew in the press box? Classy!
Spartans in full meltdown
"They're one stop away from being bowl eligible for a school record six consecutive years"
Holding. Be holding
My god... the ultimate Sparty No... and the only time in my life I haven't found humor in it.
Staee deserves to lose after not going for it on 4th and 2 at Nebraska's 42. They punted into the endzone. One play later Nebraska had it first and 10 from their 42. Staee had run all day on Nebraska - they should have run for it and gone for the win.
Smart football? Scared football. They traded 20 yards of field position in exchange for 2 yards that could've won the game.
No kidding. That was just pathetic. I'm so thankful we don't have the purgatorial assignment of cheering for this team every week. Poor Sparties.
That was a terrible PI call.
wow, pass interference on that? omg that was pretty bad.
Up by three, two minutes left, fourth and two on Nebraska's 39 yard line and he punts it. Two yards to win the game. This has to be at the top of the dumb punts of the week list. Speilman thought it was a good decision. How is it possible that people who make their living coaching and talking about football think a punt in this situation is a good decision?
If they were playing us they would have gone for it, no doubt. When did Dantonio become such a pansy?
At least we can take solace that if MSU is going to lose, they will do so buried under an avalanche of mental mistakes.
...and I didn't enjoy that either. This is certainly some weird feelings!
The guy was playing the ball.
*sigh*...Sparty being sparty...
Ugh. Have fun in Bolivian.
No, really, this time NO, DAMN IT!
