Go Blue Today

Play the spoiler boys...and get in gear for the miracle run to the Big Ten Tourney Championship, where Bielien will catapult this team to it's second straight NCAA tournament birth.

In all honesty, beating MSU at the Breslin and playing spoiler will be reward enough.

Go Blue. Manny and DeShawn...it's your day.

It was proved that scrappy kids catching fire can be dangerous to top teams. If Kyle Kuric can do it, there's no reason Novak and/or Douglass can't.

I honestly believe that UM can make a run in the BT tournament. We are not a bad team. We are a team that plays bad. If we put a couple good games together in the 2nd round and 3rd round, we can be in the finals.

Sidenote: I also can see the team not making it past the 1st round. Dang you logic!

I don't think we're a bad team, but we are a team dependent on outside shooting, and that's often the first thing to go when you have to play on tired legs (see the tourney in Orlando back in November). Winning the BTT would involve four wins in four days.

On the plus side, we tend to play very well when we have a lot of rest, and we do for today's game.

No doubt that this is the perfect setup to salvage some of the pain the team and its fans have incurred this season. Here's to hoping we are able to pull it off today.

Is it sad that since Raback said this, I now expect it to happen?

At this point I'd take an NIT championship with the way the season has gone. I'm conflicted with whether it would be better to go one and done in the dance or win the NIT.
