Submitted by CaptainBlue on

Big night at the Joe tonight, as UM is trying to win its fourth GLI championship in the past three years. EDIT: third in the last four years... Colorado College won 5-4 vs. MSU yesterday, Michigan beat Tech 4-2. Should be a good one, check out the scouting report up on the diary board.

The Daily has a live blog going, was comical last night.

Radio is at mgoblue.com, and the game is on FoxSportsDet

In honor of this game, enjoy this epic Louie Caporusso and Carl Hagelin picture

my little guy and I were goal counting and "C ya"-ing and telling the CC goalie "he sucked" all night.

The house guests may have been a wee bit disturbed, but fuck 'em - they're in-laws.

Missing Merrill definitely hurt.  The team responded well after falling down one in the third, but our PP continues to worry me.  We're having a hard enough time getting the puck into the zone, let alone establishing anything substantial on the PP.  It'll be interesting to see what happens with the goalie situation when Hogan returns.  Tonight may not have been pretty, but Hunwick has played a lot better lately and continues to get W's.  All in all good tourney all things considered, not to mention it doesn't hurt our spot in the pairwise to win a non-conference game against a solid opponent in CC.
