but what the hell? I this sarcasm? Glennie had a great game for the home team and he's a former M captain. Completely inbounds.

Glenny is a beast. I never really expected him to stick around with the NHL club but he's proven all the doubters wrong and has become a very important piece of this team now and in the future. He's got so much heart and toughness, always keeps his legs churning. The Wings haven't had a guy who can muck and grind like him since the Grind Line days.

Babcock has been talking him up since the minors and is invested. Glendening knows if he keeps working his ass off he has the coach in his corner.

he would... A friend who knows a shit ton more about hockey than me pointed out how well he is controlling the puck this year. It got me to watching more closely and he was right.

and the SJ goalie stood on his head for some great saves, and then pavs and luke get us 2 goals for the win. if the wings weren't literally the worst team in hockey for those stupid shootout/OT finishes we could easily be the highest point total in hockey. very frustrating but hopefully that difficulty will mean very little come play off time.

Joe was an excellent football player at Hillsdale, a finalist for the Harlan Hill (D2 Heisman) Trophy. After I graduated from Hillsdale, my sister started attending there the semester after I left, and her boyfriend at the time lived with Joe. I got to meet Luke once at an end of the year party when he came to visit. <Cool story bro, I know.>

to Luke and to you, Unsalted for staying up late. I only made it through the first and missed all the good action.

Thanks DC Grad, but I must admit it wasn't all that late for me since I live in Denver.

Excellent game last night. 5 games into this very tough road trip to the West and the Wings have been able to snag 7 points, even with running into a couple hot goalies here. The Habs don't seem to be slowing down, but with 2 games in hand we can definitely jump the Lightning. All that matters in the new format is being top 2 in your division to get home ice.

That would be a intense series against Tampa Bay. You have to figure that Montreal is due to drop a few games but who knows. They still have to go out West and face Anaheim, LA, San Jose....plus a Tampa Bay and Detroit a handfull of times

Here's a story (with several video links) about a massive brawl in the AHL game between Hershey and Bridgeport last week. There's a few entagnlements right after a Bridgeport player runs the Hershey goalie, but the fun really starts when that player and Chris Brown get into it as they make their way to the box.
