Glendening scores 2 goals tonight
He's starting to remind me of Kirk Maltby, gritty player who gets under the opponents skin and can score from time to time. BTW, the Wings have won 6 straight and are in first place in the Atlantic.

As for the 25-year-old Glendening, he has played in five outdoor games for three different teams – the University of Michigan, Grand Rapids Griffins and Red Wings. Two of the games were at Michigan Stadium on Michigan’s Ann Arbor campus, where he starred for three seasons. He also played outdoors at Camp Randal Stadium in Madison, Wis., Progressive Field in Cleveland, and Comerica Park in Detroit. “They’re all memorable in their own ways,” Glendening said. “Obviously the Winter Classic at the Big House, where I played in college was special, but every one has had their own unique experiences and I’ve enjoyed every one.”

It was stunning to see Glendening to score twice. It's like found money for the Wings.

Marchenko. He is gonna be a great defenseman one day. I always compare them to Lidstrom though which doesn't help much.

You gotta give props to Al Montoya too. He came in late and shut it down for FLA.
Good to see.
