Glen Rice is #27 on Big Ten Icon list

Sorry if this has been posted but didn't see it anywhere.

Glen Rice is #27 (Cazzie was #29) on the Big Ten Icon list.  Keith Jackson is doing a show on BTN starting Saturday.  They will countdown from #20.  The list is based only on an athlete's college career.  I'm guessing Woodson will be top 5.  Hopefully we'll have a few others.

I love Glen Rice (best scorer I've ever seen in Maize & Blue), but I can just hear my ol man grumbling about him being ranked ahead of Cazzie Russell. They don't call Crisler "The House That Glen Built." Rice may have the sweet stroke and that magical tourney run, but Cazzie is the foundation modern Michigan basketball was built on.

I'll be interested to see where these three guys are ranked.  Watching each of them (Webber's timeout excluded) were the highlights of my Michigan bandwagon days thus far . . .

could make it rain. His stroke is just about as sweet as a slice of sweet potato pie. The cat could flat-out shoot! His performance his senoir year,along with his tourney apperance  is something I will never forget.
