Here's hoping for a bright future. This team does try hard and I will continue to support them.
And just after you posted this, he had another really nice 22-yarder on 4th down with just a few seconds left.
EDIT: And the Eagles win!
The only thing that is missing from this catch and the 2003 catch is the Matrix slow motion effect, I would say. A very talented wide receiver indeed.

Great. Now I have to watch sports center. At least they tell you when the top ten is coming up now.
Great player, and a really, really nice guy.
You're up kid

An embarrassing game to watch, really. The Bucs desperately need help at the CB position, and I hope they get aggresive in the draft and go after a lockdown guy.
Eric Wright is a bum who isn't worth half of what he's being paid, and the other guys manning the position now are either too young or simply just not talented enough to compete in the NFL. They allowed a backup rookie QB to throw for nearly 400 yds.
It's been a lot. Its been a roller coaster that for some reason seemed like it would never get good. But you know what? We kept fighting. It's like that old saying goes, "Those Who Stay Will Be Champions." -David Molk
Makes up for the earlier .gif this year when the ball bounced off his head. Great catch by Avant!
Wait a second. So you're showing me a Michigan WR from Chicagoland who is having a successful NFL career? If I were a WR recruit I would take notice. Thanks for the info.
Was an incredible catch and I was lucky enough to be in the endzone when that happened so we had a great view! Avant has definitely made some great catches through the years.
For this catch. I was very conflicted about it. Also, it was the Comcast cable ad for a couple years.
We had great seats, about 30 rows up near the 50, which wasn't particularly close to this catch. Even from where I was, it was immediately obvious what an awesome grab Avant had on that pass.
The other memorable thing for me was actually being right next to all the players as they exited the field for half time. Mentally, you know that some of the cornerbacks and receivers aren't all that big, but being at arms length as they passed by really brought that home. Great memory.

Has another INT today.

Oh, wait...
In all seriousness, how BAD are the Jags as a team? Wow.
They are pretty bad, I mean Alabama could totally beat them.

Class acts like Jason Avant would get to heist the Lombardi trophy during the twilight of their career. It's a shame the Eagles are about to rebuild. I hope some team on the doorstep is able to sign him.
Desean Jackson on his best day has a morsel of Avant's character.

Stevie Brown with another pick for the Giants!
He is truly a gif.ted athlete.
As for me, I pulled a muscle in my ribcage just watching that.
Great catch. Jason Avant wasn't about to let Tacopants catch that one.

Meh, seen that before
