Brian just so you know I keep getting that popup that automatically starts scanning your computer and putting viruses on it.
"Jim's a tough guy and you can see his personality is all over this football team," Fitzgerald said.
when em0 said he had access to thousands of computers in the Ann Arbor area...
My suggestion is to email him at mgoblog @ the google mail type domain.
I will crawl under that rock I was destined to be under. Please tell me someone can see into the future and there is a bowl in our future?
A. Are you running any malware/anti virus?
B. I might suggest a) Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and b) SUPER Antispyware Free and perhaps c) Ad Aware
C. AVAST is pretty good as a free antivirus solution (there are a lot of +/- to every paid anti-virus solution).
You might also switch to Firefox as your browser.
If it were me, I'd close out, scan your anti-virus, run two to three malware programs, restart and try browsing with Firefox and see if the problems persist.
Ya I have malwarebytes. I am also running spybot so I'll be fine I just wanted to let Brian know. And I emailed him.
I think it's attached to one of the ads. This is the first I've seen of it in a while. He'll keep an eye out I'm sure.
not to mess with the thousand pointers that they may be very cranky! Sorry
I am destin to not make that 100 point mark! Must be shitty comments?
I don't care i still love my WOLVERINES! My first game at the big house was in 1969! I think we all remember that year!
Who helped you get on the "internet"?
Also noticed the Yard Barker/Fox Sports/MSN bar at the top of the screen now. Revenue stream?
I'm reasonably sure it was that evil sonfabitch ad that caused me major headaches before. Please no...
I didn't even know there were ads on this site.
that may have just made my evening. Thank you for that link kind sir.
do ad blockers decrease Brian's revenue stream?
Brian's mentioned this before...if you have adblock, then he doesn't get any revenue from his ads from you. Considering that he does all this for free, I disabled adblock on this site. But that's just me.
My copy of Firefox freezes whenever I click on the add-on "options" button. I've tried uninstalling, rebooting, kicking this stupid PC, etc... Perhaps my evil overlords at work have something to do with it. I'll blame them.
Picture ads are actually not that annoying - it's the Flash ads the really bother me. Anyone got suggestions on how to block those in FF?
Lets keep the man down because I am not the one who is the guy who knows the pc better than all of the pre-70's and just is an idiot! Take a lesson from us older fans, maybe there are some of us that are just old school. I love the excitement that RR brings to this team and thats why we went to the big house to see my big blue team for the first time in 20 years vrs. ND
says your an asshole and to keep subtracting. She is a FSU fan who grew up in FL! Thanks I was trying to show her how we do it in MI
I had to reformat my hard drive and reinstall Windows because of it. The virus first came up as a Windows shield in case anyone else has a similiar problem.
about a month ago I had to run Norton Ghost n totally reset my comp.
I run the Cisco security agent. It's really effective
in stopping that stuff.
I had this same problem a few months ago. Thanks to the advice I received from others here, I downloaded AVG anti-virus free edition and haven't had a problem since.
*Knock on wood*
It totally screwed my work computer a couple months back.... attacked my network login profile and went crazy. Then I had to fess up to the IT department. Yeah. That was fun.
Yeah, I got it. Nasty bugger.
