Get Well Soon, Carl Grapentine!

Submitted by Bando Calrissian on

Today, Michigan Stadium is without its PA announcer, and the MMB is without its voice, as Carl Grapentine is currently held up near his home in Chicago with serious injuries to both his legs that will require several months of guided rehabilitation. A voice known to Michigan fans for nearly five decades, Carl is a true Michigan Man who deserves our thoughts and good wishes in his recovery during the months to come.

Get well, Carl, and looking forward to hearing your voice again next season!

Carl has had knee issues for a while, and from what he shared on his Facebook, his left knee didn't hold up long enough to have his planned postseason surgery. When the left knee gave out underneath him this week, it caused a significant injury to muscles in his right leg. Basically, just a bad and unlucky turn of events.

Think about it people. The Minnesota game is being used as a basis for most people wanting to fire Hoke. Minnesota is a great team, and is on the verge of making the B10 Championship game. We need to realize this, and give Hoke the extra year he deserves.
