Obviously FSU is the catch of that conference, but that was never going to happen because of geography.  But is Clemson really better than the teams we got?  Sure, they've been good at football recently, but not great, and they bring nothing else to the table in terms of basketball, a good market, academics, etc.

Jim Delaney is looking to add Oxford as the 16th school.  This will add the London television market as well as the rest of UK.  Who cares if they will be playing Rugby?  Its all about the $.

They do make sense Academically though.

I have a friend in Chapel Hill who says that a B1G move is being talked about all over campus.  Then again, at this point that may be true of half the campuses in America.

This is getting ridiculous. This is nothing more than a land grab. Delany is only concerned with TV ratings. Competition be damned. The SEC gained talented programs while we gained Rutgers and Maryland. Now Georgia Tech? Georgia Tech is not terrible, but why wouldn't we go after Oklahoma, OSU, Texas, K State? The Big 12 is obviously going to end up disappearing. I would think those schools would jump at a conference like the B1G TEN. Delany is an idiot.

K-State.  GT is a better get than them.  The Pac12 tried to get Texas and the Ok schools and we seen how that went.  People jumped all over Delany about the Big10 Network and look how that worked out.

I wouldn't mind Kansas, but it would be for selfish reasons.   I went to my first non-bowl Michigan game in over two decades this year to Nebraska, because it was driveable.  Kansas would be an even shorter trip.

Maybe then we'll finally get rid of the Leaders and Legends divisions, get an East and West and when we sing the Victors "Champions of the West" will be actually mean something for the first time since the Northwest Ordinance days
