Gators DT Brantley declares for NFL(5 total leaving now)
Gatros DT Caleb Brantley just declared for the draft in addition to the four players who already did: CB Teez Tabor, CB Quincy Wilson, OT David Sharpe, LB Alex Anzalone
I remember Glasgow eating his lunch in the Citrus bowl but he would be tough to deal with using Mason Cole or a new center if Mason moves next year.
They are also losing there starting Center Cameron Dillard (8 starts last yr, 19 past 2yrs) who is graduate transfering.

Cam Dillard is from Michigan. Maybe he'll join Brady Hoke in Kalamazoo.

Mores pecifically, he's from Canton, which is a stone's throw from Ann Arbor. All this talk of possibly not having a center ... just sayin'...

We have a center, that's literally our strongest position

Mason Cole struggled against FSU's very athletic DL.
And Malik McDowell had his way with Cole at times...
I'm hoping to see more improvement from Cole as a senior.

Aren't both of those players projected to be top 15 picks?

Actually, he could be helpful - it could allow us to move Cole to a different spot on the line.

4 leaving early. How many graduate from this year's team? I bet we still have them beat.

According to this website: http://floridagators.com/news/2016/11/21/football-gators-release-depth-…
They are graduating 3 starters from the FSU game.

Gators are losing as many key players as we are. I trust Harbaugh to have our players ready enough to beat them come September

I'm not worried about them - they still lack a QB.
January 6th, 2017 at 6:37 PM ^
Maybe. Feleipe Franks will be a sophomore. If he isn't the answer then, yeah, their QB situation is dire.

"No, Michael J. Fox, I need to tell YOU about YOUR future."
Oh Family Guy, so wrong, but so funny...

Wonder if Harbaugh and Drevno would be interested in him.
January 6th, 2017 at 4:53 PM ^
That's why he's transferring. Just a guess, but since he's looking for playing time, I don't think he'd want to come here. Between Mason Cole, Kugler and Ruiz our depth chart probably looks worse for him than he one he left.
January 6th, 2017 at 5:00 PM ^
but maybe he could be a better guard than center? It's true of his predecessor, Jontthan Harrison, who was terrible at C for the Colts but looks like a viable NFL player at guard.
January 6th, 2017 at 5:03 PM ^
Looks like he lost his starting job due to an injury.
http://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/florida-c-cameron-dillar…
I'm as hopeful as anyone that Ruiz comes in ready to play (and that Kugler is ready to go for next year), but it seems unlikely to me that someone who started 19 games for Florida would be scared of our O-Line depth chart based on those two. Neither of them is a proven player at the college level, whereas his replacement apparently performed well.
January 6th, 2017 at 9:31 PM ^
And that would free up Cole to play tackle.

See? There is an OL grad transfer who will make an impact somewhere, so it does happen.
