i think these tickets are more pretty than the rose bowl tix I have from 2007.  I am in section 128, row E for the gator bowl this year. I am very excited for the game.

I didn't think about buying a parking pass until now, but they said that they won't ship after Dec. 15th.  Do you think there will be parking available that's "relatively" close, even though it won't be in the official lots for purchase on gameday?  I plan on going to the alumni association tailgate.

No doubt you are correct on that. I was just under the impression that the ticket led onto the idea that it is where the first conquistadors ran ashore. This I believe was in the Bahamas. I am sure your wife wouldn't be as upset as you think she would if you did end up in the Bahamas either. As for your tickets, I will gladly pay you next Tuesday for the tickets today.

The scene on the ticket clearly depicts an ocean beach, yet Jacksonville is inland, not on the actual coast. If they're meaning to depict the Spanish establishment of St. Augustine, what possible relevance does that have to the Gator Bowl?

Are they equating the University of Michigan with the Spanish?

The problem is that the Gator Bowl hired Pentagram to design the ticket. Senior Pentagram management farmed the job out to their Berlin office, and the krauts mistranslated "Wolverines" as "Conquistadores."

Stupid designers.

I remember getting that Rose Bowl ticket in 2005 and showing it off to everyone. They definitely do it up for the higher quality bowl games
