Gator Bowl Open Thread

I'm not seeing a Liveblog planned....yet...so if it occurs, this can go unused.  But the Liveblog chatter usually starts an hour, hour and a half before kickoff.  And rather than 100 different posts on every thought about the game, and surfing through them all, I'll attempt at least one central point for it.

I figure everyone will be watching the Gator Bowl primarily, and just flipping to the other games in the first part, so updates here will be appreciated. 

But enough pregame, lets get to the REAL game, and let's GO BLUE!

We could probably reach that in a quarter. Speaking of which, if people want to start new threads by quarter, I wouldn't be opposed to that. Having to load 300 comments per page is annoying enough, much less flipping through pages of commets within a thread.

All the Michigan duds are in full dress (including the bright Maize pants) and we're headed to a friends house to watch all the games.

The DVR is set so I can enjoy the Meeeeechigan Victory all over again.

The good news is the SEC East is 0-3 in bowl games now.  Three of their wins were against the SEC East and four were against non-aq opponents.

My wife was who wanted to play, which is odd because she's the one who complains about my domineering, control-freak personality during the game.  I got bankrupted first, and so I think everyone else was pretty happy.  The only flare-up involving me was when I got chided for taking too "long" trying to swindle Marvin Gardens from my son.

I love this team. I care more about the success of these players than I think I ever did under Carr. I don't know what it is. I still cared a lot about them then too. I think it's the tribulations of the past 3 years that make you realize that you really are a fan of the team and not of just winning. I don't take Michigan Football for granted like I used to. Anyways, leave it all on the field gentlemen. GO BLUE!
