I do not know how to post links on here, but Gary Danielson was on the Huge Show tonight and discussed the allegations. It is an interesting interview.

listen to Valenti and Foster tomorrow and tell me what happens (since I'm in Mt. Pleasant and won't be able to listen). I'm sure good ole' Mike is licking his chops.

A very good interview. You get Danielsen in a moment when he isn't teabagging the SEC, and he is one of the best. I know, I know: EVERYBODY in the media is a complete dolt. Sorry. His stance on the risky nature of the hire, combined with his statement that Rodriguez cam in telling Michigan that they "were doing it all wrong"--hooboy. Does anybody else get the feeling that Rosenberg's story may have been fed to him by some within UM's athletic department? Insiders on one of the paysites--a guy who seems to be at practice almost as much as the 98 hours per week that UM players are--has been, since RR was hired, saying there are guys there who are dead set against Rodriguez (and one of them may be the guy who everyone wants to talk but remains reticent), and until those guys go away, there will always be a catfight in Schembechler Hall, and THAT could drive Rodriguez oot of Michigan, even if success comes.

What you state is the biggest concern I have. We know there are people in the media, Rosenberg among others, who want to run Rodriguez out of town. If that is coupled with people inside the department who want the same, then RR is all but toast. As for whether or not Lloyd is supportive of Rodriguez. My only insight is from talking with one of Lloyd's kids last year. I was told that he liked RR. At least the season starts in 5 days.

I think that this is going to go away or be more of a wide spread crackdown across the NCAA! I don't think that UM is going to get in trouble when as he says it is "wide spread."

in the interview he says RichRod came in and told a winning program they were doing it wrong, and that upset people. It was the wrong approach, in Danielson's mind. But if you listen or read anything that idiot says about the big ten, it is ALWAYS about how they need to change if they want to compete with god's conference, the SEC. He has also said it will take Ohio State or Michigan to make the change, the Purdue's and Indiana's of the world won't change anything.

For the most part, I enjoy Danielson and fail to see how that is a hypocitical statement. He said that telling UM they are doing it wrong was the wrong approach for RR to take, he isn't saying he doesn't agree that they were doing it wrong. He just said that a new coach shouldn't go into the winningest college football prgram in the universe and say "you're doing it wrong" if you want to keep everyone happy. You will have to tell me how you think this is a person being hypocritical, in my mind it isn't at all.
