Gardner with the wrs

Devin Gardner is signing autographs with the wrs not the qbs. Just another sign he is transitioning.

Speaking of the Olympics.......

Is anybody else watching whatever the F is on right now?  It's some sort of gymnastic thing involving plastic balls and groups of women rolling around playing with said balls.

It's not quite as dirty as my description makes it out to be but i'd love to have the guys who claim gynamstics is a sport and not an exhibition try and explain this nonsense.

I don't get the sticks thing or the kickball like the kind you buy at Meijers for .99 cents but the ribbon thing is quite entertaining as are the russians doing it.  Don't understand why anyone would consider this a sport while they get rid of women's softball.

Wow.  Had to turn to NBC to see what the hoop-la was all about.  Interesting indeed.  I'm not going to lie, rhythm gymnastics to me is a sport.  I was watching the girls (solo) with the hoops/sticks/even ribbons, and the stuff they are able to do to me is very "athletic" and deserves some respect.  This on the other had, looks ridiculous!

Edit: I may be wrong in my categorization of rhytmic gymnastics.  This may very well be the same as I described above, but considered the "group" round.  It does however not look as good as what I was watching with the girls soloing it (get your minds out of the gutter).

Anquan Boldin was Florida's HS POTY as a QB at Pahokee.  He went to FSU as a QB, but moved to WR to "help the team."  He's done pretty well at that position.

One underrated atrribute that most players who start out at QB have is a better understanding of the field than players at other positions.  Gardner probably won't be another Boldin, but he could turn out to be one of "those" players who run extremely precise routes and make great adjustments to the ball if the passes aren't accurate.

...he starts. There is no surprise now and if he's good enough to switch then he should be on the field to start. Even more so with Roundtree out.

This is a good point. It doesn't make too much sense to switch him and weaken his QB skills if he's not going to contribute significantly at WR.

Wonder if people will still be trying to confirm this when he lines up at WR in Dallas?

I think we all know by now and have known for a while that DG will play WR this year.
