Gardner to the Patriots

Submitted by Wolverine Devotee on

Per the twitters, Thomas Rawls has signed with the Sehawks. Previously reported as the Cowboys but now others are saying the Sehawks which would make more sense because Pete Carroll Drafts.

Also, Brennen Beyer has signed with John Harbaugh's Ravens as an UDFA. HARBAUGH

DG to the Patriots!!

These guys are teammates now

I think Devin is one of the greatest overall men that has come through michigan in a long time. However, if Gallon couldn't make it there I don't see where Gardner does. He's a lot bigger but I don't think he has the quickness to make it. This is one of those situations that I'd love to be proven wrong!

Quite the list of Wolverines picked up by the Pats. Does Belichick have an affinity for drafting Wolverines, or does Mr. Brady have some influence in those draft picks?

There is a small percentile that gets to experience this feat. Having him represent Detroit and the University is special. Through the ups/downs I only hope he makes a team in a selfish way...as he has more waiting for him in life to take on than an NFL team. He can help change lives which warrants more dignity and class than an NFL roster. Go Blue Gardner...we are behind you regardless!!

For a guy who faced a number of challenges while at UM, and who faced them all with class, and without himself foremost in his thoughts, a chance to stick with and contribute to the NFL Champs is a deserved reward. I am pulling for him, and bet he becomes the player they drafted him for.

I think this is a great situation for Devin. I can see Brady and Edelman mentoring him, giving him his best chance to make the team. I truly hope he can stick in the NFL for at least a few seasons. I hope I have a chance to buy my son a Gardner Patriots jersey to go along with his Brady jersey. Congratulations Devin, and good luck!!!
