I'm trying to think of an appropriate metaphor for this game. Playing Northwestern is like . . . I can't. They try super hard. They have some good players. They have a pretty campus. When they win they seem to display good manners and class. But I also, for inexplicable reasons, hate them. It's like when the guy on the chess team shows up at intermural basketball and doesn't just suck like you think he should, and it throws the balance of the universe off. He keeps hitting threes somehow or whatever. There you go.

For all the SEC fellatio on ESPN, it's amazing that they can still try to say Alabama hasn't played anyone. Could this be the beginning of the realization that the SEC isn't full of Alabama teams, and gets dominated by Alabama and LSU just like every other conference in the country?
