Gameday/Noon Games Open Thread
Iowa at Northwestern and IU at Illinois in Big Ten action. In other irrevelant games around the country, Texas plays at Kansas and Tennessee is in South Carolina.
Pulling hard for Northwestern today, as a Michigan victory and an Iowa loss would be ideal.

Charlie Weiss doesn't know how to use timeouts. They could have 40 seconds on the clock with no timeouts, rather than 8 seconds left with 2 timeouts. These commentators are so bad to not even notice it.

I'm guessing he didn't think his defense would fail him so badly.

Illinois is not good....
October 27th, 2012 at 3:08 PM ^
Tennessee was down 21-7 but has quietly been chipping away at South Carolina's lead to make it a 35-38 ballgame with 8 minutes left.
October 27th, 2012 at 3:10 PM ^
Further proof that South Carolina was insanely overrated this year.

Mack Brown just avoided setting his La-Z-Boy ablaze.

whats up with all the empty seats at the SC/Tenn game? come on,you're the SEC!!!
October 27th, 2012 at 3:11 PM ^
Only took Oregon 1:47 to score.....Colorado might be in a little trouble.

I wish I had put money on Oregon winning by more than the spread
October 27th, 2012 at 3:23 PM ^
On the other hand, Colorado's defense kept the Oregon offense on the field for 1:47, which is probably a huge win for this year's Buffs.

Tennessee has some very obese looking DL. Not surprising that they suck so bad. Those kids are not even close to being in good shape.
October 27th, 2012 at 3:13 PM ^
Ol' Ball Coach loves to throw it
October 27th, 2012 at 3:14 PM ^
Will Indiana eventually not suck, given their seemingly OK head coach and decent recruiting in the last couple days?
October 27th, 2012 at 3:20 PM ^
Beautiful campus, very good university, hot coeds, centrally located...IU really is the Sleeping Giant in B1G football.

Is that Griese doing the Tenn. / SC game? He knows his football and is getting to be a pretty good analyst.
October 27th, 2012 at 3:19 PM ^
Not a tennessee fan, but I hope they win so some of these sec teams getting ranked high for no reason get questioned.
October 27th, 2012 at 3:22 PM ^
No matter how many highly ranked SEC teams get beat they have an endless rotation of them to fill each other's spots and with esss eeeee ceeee blowhards on ESPN like Pollack, Palmer, and May they'll always be the "best league with the best athletes"
October 27th, 2012 at 3:19 PM ^
For as good as everyone says the South Carolina d-line is they are getting very little pressure on Bray
October 27th, 2012 at 3:22 PM ^
and Clowney gets the job done......
October 27th, 2012 at 3:26 PM ^
I spoke too soon... It just seemed like all game today and the past 2 weeks they've been having problems getting any push up front.
October 27th, 2012 at 3:20 PM ^
Meanwhile Colorado down 14-0 to Oregon not even 3 minutes into the game....
Part of me wants to see Oregon score 100 just because

October 27th, 2012 at 3:25 PM ^
Pounding a Colorado team that is one play away from being 0-7 and is giving up 47 points a game on defense is not making a statement, even if you win by 80 points.
October 27th, 2012 at 3:22 PM ^
And tennessee blows it again
October 27th, 2012 at 3:24 PM ^
It's amazing how powerful that program used to be and where they are now.
October 27th, 2012 at 3:22 PM ^
Clowney is a beast. He will definitely play in the league someday. Why is Dooley on crutches?

Much like Chip Kelly and Brian Belichick sharing notes in the offseason, I have to believe Iowa's coaches came to Ann Arbor in the offseason for pointers.

Brian?

Tennessee OL inconsolable after getting beat the best DL in the country.
October 27th, 2012 at 3:31 PM ^
Tenn blows a TO after Carolina steps out of bounds....lol. Wow
October 27th, 2012 at 3:31 PM ^
Tennessee used their timeout after a play that went out of bounds...lmao
October 27th, 2012 at 3:31 PM ^
Tennessee really took their last time out?!
October 27th, 2012 at 3:32 PM ^
Dooley game management at its finest
October 27th, 2012 at 3:32 PM ^
So much bad coaching in one play. SC calls a pass instead of forcing TN to burn the timeout. Then Shaw runs out of bounds anyway. Then TN still burns their last timeout even with the clock stopped. I mean...

I think Dooley just officially lost his job
