What do the players do during a bye week? Yesterday, after morning practice, Desmond Morgan drove back to Holland to say a few words to a crowd of 2,200-2,500 during his high school's Homecoming Assembly. He got quite the welcome following a video clip of some of his high school highlights along with his interception against UCONN. It's great to see Wolverines that are always willing to give back and not forget where they came from. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4tjonTiqRw&feature=youtu.be

Some of the Massey predictions:

- Oklahoma gets an estimated 58% probability to beat ND

- Alabama is getting 94% against Ole Miss

- LSU is their dog against Georgia at only 31% for the Tigers

- South Carolina has an estimated 66% shot against UCF

- Wisconsin is the decided "unfavorite" against the Buckeyes at 39%

- Purdue is being given only 43% against Northern Illinois.

That's awesome for Desmond and his high school.

I'm going with Notre Dame, Ole Miss (Go big or go home), Arizona, Wisconsin, UCF, and Georgia.

If I'm wrong about everything except Wisco I won't care.

"Gators wear jean shorts" is my sign pick though that's from somewhat limited viewing.

ND will win at home vs Stoops' Boomer Sooner.

Bama will roll Ole Miss

I'm picking the upset of UCF over South Carolina.

Ohio I think takes care of business tonight

I'd like to see RR and Arizona beat a good looking Washinton team.

ND over OK; Bama smokes Ole Miss; OSU narrowly over Wisky; UW in a tight one over AZ; Cocks over UCF.

Bowling Green beats Akron, driving a portion of the fanbase even deeper into a funk.

The idea that Ole Miss could beat Bama is all ESPN hype. Their best players are all freshmen. They don't stand a chance. As far as Ohio vs Wisconsin, if the game were in Madison with these teams I'd be very confident Wisconsin would win. As it is, it's really a toss up. The first real team either of them will play. I think Wisconsin is more balanced on O and D, and the fact that they're all about a killer run attack might neutralize the best part of Ohio's D, which is the secondary. Go badgers.

I struggle between what I think will happen and what I want to happen.

I want ND to lose ... just because they're ND.  And I want to see OSU lose to Wisconsin.

I think ND will lose, but it will be a close game.  And I think OSU beats Wisconsin by 10.

I like Georgia in the LSU game.  That'll be a hell of a game.

Alabama dispatches Ole Miss.  I don't think this will end up close at all.

The game of local interest to me (I live in Tucson) is Arizona at Washington.  First real test for the Wildcats.  It's uptempo spread vs. uptempo spread.  UA's defense with Casteel at the helm is fair.  But I think Washington takes this one.

God I'm really sick of hearing about Mettenberger and his emotional return. Nothing tragic happened -- the guy is fucking scum who got kicked off the team for sexual battery. Stop pimping this storyline ESPN -- it's bad enough you have have Ray Lewis on your NFL shows.

Bama big over Ole Miss

OSU big over the Badgers

Bulldogs nick the Tigers

Oklahoma wins a messy game against the Irish. Both teams have 2+ turnovers

S. Carolina wins comfortably

UDub beats Zona

I mean yeah, beating OSU, in and of itself, is a beautiful feeling. And I'd love beating them if they were 0-11 too. But the feeling of beating them when they're so close to a national title berth, and getting to watch them drag their sorry asses off of our field in defeat would be nothing short of pure euphoria.

in what I see as possibly the best game of the day, but I expect the home team to win, with both Miller and Guiton playing for the Buckeyes.

NIU beats Purdue.

Clemson crushes Wake Forest.

Alabama wins easy over Ole Miss. Saban never loses these games.

LSU and its new-fangled offense beats Georgia.

Iowa outlasts Minnesota, which is totally one-dimensional.

I want the Irish to beat Oklahoma for the sake of Michigan. But I think the Sooners win.

Arizona State beats USC. Just a hopeful choice.

ND, 'bama, Washington, Ohio (jumps early and puts Wisky in a bind), the Ole Ball Coach and LSU.  I'm not a believer in either LSU or Georgia, though I feel like I'm closer to believing in LSU than the Bulldogs.

Didn't they play OSU really tough last year? They already beat Penn State this year and they beat Akron 38-7. They will be the only team to test Louisville until the bowl probabaly.
