Gameday Harbaugh "Feature"

Just watched the Gameday bit on Michigan/Harbaugh (it was not quite what you could call a feature, less than 5 minutes long). Just wondering what everyone's thoughts are. A nice intro reflecting on Bo that could have been goosebump-inducing if not narrated by Gene Wojciechowski. A few interview moments with Butt and Lewis. It was fine; didn't induce a strong opinion from me either way. Just wondering the thoughts of my fellow brethren. Go Blue.

I'm flipping between Sportscenter and Gameday and didn't see it. I saw something on SC but it had interviews with Jamie Morris, Beilein, and Mitch McGary.

That Harbaugh was wanted at Michigan not just because he is a Michigan Man, but that he was wanted to come to Michigan to win football games. Said that he should win given some time, and if not he will bolt to the NFL in a few years

But I don't remember it / never went while I was at Michigan during Harbaugh's time. I know, paid promotion, but it's not even close to campus. I they want to pull at hearts and minds, they need to pick a student hang out.

One of my friends wandered off from his group hammered one night, went to Panchero's, tried to eat, threw up all over the table and went to sleep for a while. I guess the staff wasn't concerned because another friend happened to find him there a long while later.

Totally agree. Both are good, but Maize and Blue was more low-key, the food was great, close-by and I believe cheaper than Zingerman's.

Agreed. The taste was similarly delightful, while the value proposition was hugely in favor of Maize and Blue Deli...I mean, the fact that you could get a reuben at MBD that was a solid 2.5-3 inches thick for the cost of, like, chips and a pickel at Zingerman's meant I was always eating at MBD. Of course, when the parents came to town it was Zingerman's!

Also, I really liked the owners/family at MBD, very low-key and easy to talk to.

I worked at in the kitchen at the Gandy Dancer, so it was whatever I scraped together and smuggled. But I remember going to Zingermans in the late 80s when I had a couple bucks to spare.

The piece was only noteworthy if you have not been following Michigan much and you need a quick refresher about that guy that came back to coach college from the NFL and why he did it.

I go there to watch any and all sporting events that I can't get on TV or Roku, even PPV. There are some pop-ups initially but once you clear those out, you're watching whatever sporting program you want as long as it's on live TV.

download a free pop-up blocker for that site. They'll tell you to disable it before you can enter their site, so do that but then activate it again and you won't be bothered by ads.

World TV plus app for iphone has big ten network. Its a free illegit streaming service. Pretty ad-heavy but it works

the app "WEBDRO" is a must. Trust me. It's not on the store so you have to get it from the site but it's amazing. Hardly any ads (almost never while watching), rock solid DVD quality picture, plenty of channels and only a 30 second delay from my live cable. Tablet or phone, WEBDRO. They show you how to install if you don't already install a lot of open source/homebrew/ungooglefied apps. Totally safe, too.

I didnt love it.. mostly because I could never ever imagine Harbaugh saying any of that first person narrative they used for him. If he saw it I could imagine it would make him grind his teeth. Harbaugh probably doesn't think in fully constructed sentences about "Michigan Men."
