Game vs. Minnesota: Noon on BTN

Submitted by jcgold on

Starting with the EMU game, we're looking at 4 games in a row on BTN, with the streak likely broken by MSU.

Thank God I have BTN - greatest channel ever. I would rather watch games on ESPN or ABC for the better quality and hype though. Oh well - we will get MSU, osu, Nebraska (maybe Illinois) on ABC.

I have to go to a wedding in Adrian at 4:30.  I'll never understand why anyone would get married during football season.

As far as BTN goes, most of their announcers are aboring and poorly informed.  The guys on Saturday were turrible.

If they want to hype up a game, just have Gus Johnson do it.  Those BWW commericals with the sprinklers on the field are priceless with his voice.  He could make watching paint dry sound exciting.  Does he even work for BTN anymore?

The Michigan game was on the BTN Overflow channel in Kentucky this weekend, which was zoomed in and couldn't see the edges of the screen. You could only see the Michigan score and how many yards were left. One of the most annoying games to watch ever.

but that could have been the TV you were viewing, as no network sends a "zoom" picture, but alot of TV's have the option to make stadard def "fill" the screen.  If your TV is set to zoom then it also zooms HD programming too.

I have DISH and B1G Network is a good as espn in HD.

Wasn't it just a few years ago where each team only had 2 BTN games and now it's at least 4 and potentially 5 if they add the Purdue game.  I'm kind of surprised ESPN didn't pick up the UM-SDSU game, two up and coming programs with the obvious Hoke storyline, seems to be a much more enticing matchup than PSU-EMU.

I don't get the BTN in my area via cable and I can't have a sat dish.  It looks like it will be a month of watching UM on the net at ten minutes behind the live game.  oh well, better than the radio I guess.

God, I hate BTN. Horrible commentators, horrible camera work, just horrible all around. We also dont't get BTN in HD out here in California, which makes the experience even worse.

Live in remote Alaska. No cable access, no DirectTV, just DISH AND I can only reach their satellite 119, which does NOT carry the BTN. I have begged and pleaded with DISH to put the BTN on that satellite, but they basically tell me "go to hell" as I have no other choices and they know it. They claim that that have no more room on that satellite, but that hasn't stopped them from adding several infomercial channels since I started their service 9 years ago. So, I can never watch a Michigan game on the BTN, but I sure as hell can watch that sham-wow guy 24/7.
