Based on this, it doesnt sound like weather will be a factor.

A 30% chance of rain is pretty low and winds that top out at 10 MPH probably wont matter.  The wind listed on weather.com seems to always be at 7 MPH or higher.

LOW PRESSURE WILL BRING WINDS AND RAIN TO LOWER MICHIGAN TONIGHT INTO FRIDAY. RAIN WILL ARRIVE TONIGHT AS A WARM FRONT PUSHES INTO LOWER MICHIGAN. THE RAIN COULD BE HEAVY AT TIMES WITH EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS. SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THURSDAY WITH A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS IN THE AFTERNOON OR EVENING AS A COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH. WINDS WILL INCREASE THURSDAY NIGHT WITH SOME GUSTS TO 40 MPH POSSIBLE AS THE LOW INTENSIFIES. THE LOW WILL PULL AWAY ON FRIDAY WITH FAIR AND COOL WEATHER EXPECTED OVER THE WEEKEND.

NOAA lists a 50% chance of rain for Saturday with a high temperature of 48 degrees.  Appears the main storm -- which will impact Michigan starting tonight through Friday -- will be gone but a weak surface low will impact Michigan Friday night into Saturday, bringing spotty chances for rain.

Hopefully it will be light and showery, if it rains at all.

Yeah apparently it will depend on how much rain we get.  More rain tonight/tomorrow/tomorrow night would mean wind can't make it to the surface as easily, which would minimize wind damage.  So for your sake let's hope the sky opens up tomorrow and we can dry out Friday and Saturday!

Not sure why no one is talking about football. I think that crappy weather helps Michigan. First, crappy weather hurts offenses, and so helps even out the two teams' defenses. In crappy weather neither team moved the ball well and the game is kept close. A field position battle. I think crappy weather makes the fame a crap shoot, whereas I think otherwise May had a bit of an edge.
