No drunken pregame/game attire set can be complete without a silly hat as well.

How can you have a MAIZE RAGE without the MAIZE?

Maize. There's really no other choice. It's your duty as a fan.
Bust out the jersey for watching games at the bar.

Wear Maize! Go Blue!

Maize outs are great, but I have an absolute obsession with matching the team jersey-wise on gameday. I've never been to a game that was pre-designated as a Maize Out, so I've never been faced with the tough choice, though. Of course, once we start rocking the Maize jerseys, it will all work itself out.

You could pregame in the jersey, and then replace it with the maize shirt just before the game. That way you get the best of both worlds.
And according to the tickets UConn isn't a designated Maize Out, but in my opinion every game should be a maize out whether it says so on the ticket or not.

Every game should be a maize out. I think it looks so good when the student section is all in the season T-shirts. Other schools can get the whole stadium in one color (even the off my lawn crowd), and we should be able to as well. I guess it means blue jerseys are out, but I think the look of a bright yellow crowd is worth it.

I know a lot of teams have a sponsor for white-outs/black-outs, etc. so they give away t-shirts at the gate with a sponsor on the back -- hence, why the stands are filled with the color.

UConn and MSU are probably the most imporant at home, but every game should be a maizeout.

Maize all the way. You could wear the #2 jersey before the game but change into maize before you head to the stadium.

I saw a guy wearing a sheep costume once. He was sitting right behind the opponents' bench (Illinois, for this particular game) and he was yelling insults at them, then saying "yeah that's right! you just got dissed by a guy dressed like a sheep!"
I wouldn't suggest that, though.

the jersey of the starting QB. Not sure which one that'll be, but I'm covered.

... MAIZE!!

Why can you only wear your jersey 13 times per year? That jersey is like a finely tailored suit. Always in style.
