Jack Morris in 1991. My memory is very bad. I thought the White Sox had 4 pitchers do it in 2005 in their sweep of the Astros (then of the NL)

Exactly what this long-time Red Sox fan did NOT need to hear.
Yes, I know that the Mets came back to win the 1986 Series after they went down 2-0 at home and had to win two at Fenway Park, and I don't have to be reminded of the ground ball that went through Bill Buckner's legs in game six that year.
A week ago, these same friends were asking me whether I'd gotten over "the play that shall not be mentioned again" (even though it's still being replayed whenever anyone discusses a miraculous, last-second play in any sport.)
Maybe I've got to find some new friends.
