Wind is not an excuse for attempting to dive to catch a punt like Gallon did. He was clearly trying to make up for the play earlier when he didn't down the punt and it rolled to our 2.

After all the emphasis on HOLD ON THE DAMN BALL the past couple of years, and considering the reports that Gallon didn't work super hard in the offseason, I was surprised that RR marched him back out there after the fumble. My first reaction was, "well that the last time he'll see the field for a while."

I know that it was windy, but I don't really care for that decision. He did get the go even after doing that, so I hope for the best from him.

There was a lot of wind today that threw off many kicks. Gallon just misplayed the ball. He should have just cleared out the area and let it land instead of diving for it, but I wouldn't read too much into it. Overall, the damn ball will be caught.

this wasnt a misjudged ball - gallon had absolutely no chance to get that ball. he dove at it. i dont play footbaw and i know if you're diving for a punt something is about to go terribly wrong.
