fwiw, Ash looking around too

If the worst case scenario comes to fruition (Talbott and Ash go elsewhere) that would make 2 classes in a row with 2 DL pulling signing day decommitments. And create some serious need on the DL in the next recruiting class.

with Mr. Ash ASAP. For those of you already assuming he's gone hold out on taking the cyanide pill as he didn't say he wasn't signing. If we lost Ash and Talbott after losing Jones and Graves last year it would be a real setback.

This is insane. If there is one spot on our roster where you have a good chance to be a contributor/starter for the entire time you're on campus, it's DT. THANK GOD for Jibreel Black. Might this help us with Talbott? Maybe this is enough to push him to us.

I hope we don't lose him and/or Talbott. We need talented d-lineman in this class badly! 4 last minute defections at one position group in 2 years would be devestating!

He decommitted from somewhere else to commit to UM... we can never be surprised when our lover cheats on us when we were their mistress from their past relationship. "But, Baby, you told me you changed your way!" "Oh, stop your crying... you knew I was a freak when you met me in the bathroom stall at the Denny's on 54th and Cooper St as my husband was eating a Grand Slam and thinking I was taking too long because I had to shit... you just were willing to ignore it as long as I was givin' you the love" Of course, this analogy takes a very gut wrenching turn when you think of it in terms of a 6"3" 265 pound man

He might be wavering because he doesn't know what defense we run. Is it a 4-3 as Brian calls it, or a 3-4 because we only 3 down lineman? Is there a deathbacker and a spinner? Is the spinner actually just a nickelback? Did we actually run a 3-3 with a safety in the box and a single deep safety which is basically the stack? Who the hell knows

In response to this:
@TomVH No worries, Tom. I understand your position, but you mayhave given the Pahokee crew more time to work their magic.
Tom posted this:
@Ian_Cameron I made sure I let them know last night. They're working on him

Lets not cast his ship off yet. He still hasn't decommited and neither has Terry so as of now they are in the fold. All we know for sure is that with the recent statements of Raback Omaba that have come to light the next 24 hours are going to be interesting.

Lets face it he's a young kid on the night before he makes one of the biggest decisions of his life, which will in turn affect the course of his life. I think it's only natural some doubt goes through his mind, I'm sure this is happening to hundreds of recruits tonight. That being said, I'm still worried. He could really be a big time player for us

Hankins. I understand that they wanted to wait for his senior year to finish to offer him, but I think they should have offered him earlier with the condition that he improve conditioning-wise, and that the offer would be yanked if he didn't. Maybe it wouldn't have made a difference, and it's moot anyhow, but if we lose both Ash and Talbott it makes Hankins loom much larger for me.
