The future of Michigan Stadium

For future expansion/renovation which option would you choose...

1. Lambeau Field style south endzone upper deck with more seats

or

2. Doak Campbell Stadium/Kinnick Stadium brick endzone with fewer seating but matching the overall stadium design

I'd leave the suites alone and maybe extend seating on both ends tying into the suites but make them regular seats or maybe even chair back type seats.

During the 1998 renovation, the athletic department stumbled upon the fact that some tickets were held by corporations that had long since gone out of business. If memory serves, they found a block of 29 season tickets that was owned by a company that went out of business in 1970. For some reason, people were up in arms, and the policy was changed to prvent that sort of thing.

Personally, I think the drop in season tickets points out one thing: If someone is willing to pay for 29 season tickets, don't stop them. Who cares if they're using a corporate name, and the company went out of business? The only thing that matters is that somewhere there is a person who is willing to shell out that kind of money. That's some serious support of the football program. Frankly, that should be appreciated. For all we know, that person gave tickets away to people who couldn't afford to buy tickets on their own. I'm not saying that is the case, but it is possible. At the very worst, the tickets are sold. How is that an affront to the university?

Get the school of engineering and the music department to collaborate to somehow reflect the noise of the fans onto the field.

I remember the YouTube of that army airborne guy who jumped into the stadium. When he was hovering over the stadium the sound was like a punch. It was almost quieter on the field after he landed.

It's like the bowl is an auditorium with acoustics aimed at the birds.

Fan sound dan be a weapon. I remember s couple games at the silverdome that were sold out where the crowd was penalized because the opposing team couldn't hear themselves. T was beautiful.

I remember the halo thing we had going for a while. Quite unnerving. However, if there was some sort of rows added, with a slight curvature between the boards and boxes, we'd get quite the decibel increase making TBH much more intimidating to play in for opponents.
