After watching a 2nd and 3rd time I think Speight will be our starter. O'Korn never goes through his reads. Anytime O'Korn's first read wasn't there he bolted without going to his second read.

A couple times the play called was a quick 3 step concept so O'Korn didn't have the time available to go through progressions, but plenty of other instances prove he relies on his legs too much.

Speight threw from the pocket well, on the run well, and is athletic enough to pick up ground with his legs. My money is on Speight!!!

O'Korn was given Wangler, Harris, and Morris as receivers and the best TEs were on the Maize team. All due respect to those guys but they aren't the best receivers on the team. The Maize team also had the better part of the starting secondary.

Given what he had to work with and work against, I walked away thoroughly impressed. Speight did well too so I'm not concerned with the position either way but it seemed clear to me that O'Korn was more talented and it would just be a matter of time before he got the timing down and become completely comfortable with the progressions.

From O'Korn I saw happy feet way too quickly. Granted its very early but O'Korn isn't the Frosh or even RS Frosh. He has multiple years in college.

He did not seem as poised. It worked out most of the time bc he got yards with his legs but QB play like that makes the OL look worse and doesn't give playmakers a chance downfield.

I'm sure he'll get bettet as time goes on but Speight looked like he won Rd 1 to me.

-Happy to watch M playing football

-Sort of underwhelmed by the defense (@ 1 hr 25 min so far) unless there are some nuances I'm just not seeing...obviously this is a work in process with a new coach

-Ty Wheatley Jr is freaking huge

-Speight looks damn good

-Ty Isaac where have you been?

-Love watching the new players in action

-Way2Early prediction our running game has flashes of looking much better
