Michigan has an allotment of 24,000 tickets.  Last year LSU was able to get their allotment up to 37,000 thru negotiation, but with both M and Alabama asking for something like this, this is unlikely.

I would assume distribution will depend on priority points/lottery.

if that @UConn game remains unaltered. even if they keep UConn, i would guess they try to move it to a bigger stadium on the east coast somewhere. uconn's holds 40,000. foxborough and the meadowlands would be the next closest real stadiums, which, YES PLZ!

Pre-12th game (aka the baby seal add-on, which will be U Mass in 2012), there were tougher schedules.  Along with 1991, look at Michigan in 1994:

- BC (against a team that went 9-3 in previous year & 7-4-1 in 1994)
- @ ND (#3 in nation)
- Colorado (#7 in nation - the Kordell Stewart game)
- @ Iowa
- MSU
- PSU (#3 in nation)
- @ Illinois (#25 in nation)
- Wisconsin (defending Big 10 champs, would go to HoF bowl)
- @ Purdue
- Minnesota
- @ OSU (#22)

That's a tough schedule.  The only breather was Purdue and Minnesota at the very end (though Iowa was mediocre at best that year).

We went 7-4 with this schedule with a talented team (e.g., Wheatley, Collins, Law, Morrison, Hamilton), so to answer your last question: I'm not sure if the board can handle a situation like that now.  If we go 8-4 against the 2012 schedule, it will be a nice achievement.  Hopefully, more will be possible, but it will take a lot of skill, hard work and luck.

Playing Alabama and then Air Force is really scary. Air Force is one that I have always liked watching, especially when they are killin ND. They are a decent team and they beat Georgia Tech in their bowl game and have only lost to TCU this year (ok not the greatest opponents other than them, but heh). With our team two years under this staff an Denard a senior, I hope they are ready for the brutal schedule in 2012.

is tough enough, especially since it will be our FIRST game and no chance to iron some of the kinks.  Hopefully, there won't be too much new stuff to learn next year and the O will be "in sync".

DB needs to scheduling bye weeks before tough opponents.  Not sure the extra rest and preparation time is best spent preparing for at trip to West Lafayette in 2012 and for Minny at home in 2013!

I think that 2013 schedule is very favorable competition wise as it is this year, Especially in the beginning of the season, which is perfect time to get the 5 star lefty some time to prove himself and get some PT

Michigan Stadium goes 4 weeks in 2012, then 3 weeks in 2013 without a game in late September/early October.  Whats up with that, are they clearing out the great weather weekends for weddings?
