FUCK 2013!!!! [Drinks and posbanging found here]

I would have liked for 2013 to go better, but there are many things I'm thankful for.

• NCAA Championship Game. I don't know how many predicted Michigan would get that far . . . I certainly didn't.
• Recruiting. Are you glass half full or glass half empty kind of guy? If you focus on Hand, you're half empty. Peppers, half full. As I look at recruiting in 2012, 2013, 2014, & 2015, I'm thrilled at what I see coming.
• Coaching stability. This is a negative to many, but I'm very glad that the coaches are still together. I believe that Borges and Hoke postponed the transition from Spread to Pro-Style offense because of Denard and to some degree, Gardner. I believe that 2013 has been very painful because this is the real transition year, and because this is the hump year for the OL & DL. I truly believe it only gets better from here.
• On a personal note, my daughter is doing well in the Navy, and just got married. I myself had a major stroke which was completely reversed while in NYC. I love my job, I love my wife, and I love watching my 12 year old twins in football, soccer, wrestling, and baseball.
• Oh, and I still love following Michigan sports, win or lose.

With all those things, I'm glad for 2013.

My first child (son) was born this year, so it was a great year. As far as Michigan football, yes the year sucked but WE WILL BE BACK. Ebb and flow.

Drinking some dogfish head Aprihop and then some Lagunitis little sumpin wild ale.

Good old Canada Dry, the best non-alcoholic beverage there is.

If it ain't obvious, I have bud and jack in the house.  I probably have enough smirnoff for one drink, but I'm out of mixers other than coke.  What will go best with some brats and football?  Hmmm....

Our starting QB could throw the ball accurately 80 yards in the air... two years ago. If nothing else, Gallon's cloaking device and that arm should work nicely together.

I want Devin back in next year. I think Shane's time will come. I have a feeling he won't be as shaky as some think. He's going to be nervous but the coaching staff has had a lot of time to work with him and I think you will see a vastly improved running game which will help the defense. Shane has the arm to keep them honest if he keeps his composure.

Just got in from ice fishing on my lake( crooked lake in kazoo mi) got a couple. Perch! Have Ben drinking jack out of the flask all day! Now it's time to watch some football!!!

I'm currently drinking myself into a good mood. Michigan Women's and Men's Basketball got the W today, so it's time to celebrate and keep the good vibes rolling for the bowl game!

Also as a side note, Michigan Basketball finally pulled out some sneaker heat on the court today with Glenn wearing the Adidas Crazy 1's! (aka Kobe's shoe when he was sponsered by Adidas). As a self-proclaimed sneakerhead, I'm very happy to see more than team issued D Rose's or crazylight's out there.
