We'll need all those guys playing at the top of their game to win this one.
Also, thanks again to all the seniors who stuck by the program. Must have been tough to stomach for a while there, but you all really helped to bring us back from oblivion.

But not starting? Does that mean he comes in at the end of the 1st quarter? Only if Huyge struggles? That will be an interesting storyline.

a nod to seniority on senior day
or someone else can speculate on 'motivational or punishment' techniques
November 19th, 2010 at 4:37 PM ^
Huyge is a Junior.
November 19th, 2010 at 4:40 PM ^
giving him more seniority than a RS freshman

In that case, Coner should have started over Tate last year.

oh you two . . . . . . .

The Great Coner-Tate Debate of '09 was a tough and divisive time for Michigan fans, so let's just leave it in the past.
November 19th, 2010 at 6:11 PM ^
But the "Coner-Tate Debate" was also the name of one of the Coner's masterful freestyles. In it, we learned the following:
- Not to hate the great debate
- To contemplate and celebrate the sedimentation rate of tectonic plates
- To donkey mate (whatever that means)
- To investigate the State inmate (Winston, I believe)
Some things cannot be left to forever rust in the past.

I remember my first beer and posting on MGOBLOG.

want to kill their linemen TOO early in the game.

Happy to see MM and Mouton practiced all week and are ready for tomorrow. I hope Lewan is able to play fully too. Let's go boys and win a big game for the seniors!

Was that Denard @ :05?
November 19th, 2010 at 4:37 PM ^
He flashed out of the picture rather quickly
unless this clip is actually from ghost hunters?

that must have been one tasty bite.

Looks like Stokes, with a slant cut.
November 19th, 2010 at 4:36 PM ^
It makes me feel better about the game knowing that Martin is probably going to play. At the same time, if Lewan isn't ready to start, he probably shouldn't play at all.
November 19th, 2010 at 4:51 PM ^
trying to pick up a guy the way Lewan did.

Has anyone found a link for this week's Inside Michigan Football? I didn't find it on Comcast, BTN online, and haven't seen Boys n da Pahokee's usual post.
November 19th, 2010 at 5:30 PM ^
I'm sure that boyz in pahokee will have it up at some point within 24 hrs if I had to make a guess. As for a streaming, I have no idea.

I like our coach.
That's all. I just like him.

and good to see Foote back with the Steelers.
November 19th, 2010 at 6:01 PM ^
of film study? I guess I never really considered how much time was spent by the coaches on this. After thinking about it that sounds about right when you factor in a couple hours practice a couple hours in the weight room, but man that's a lot of time in front of a tv watching plays. That thread earlier today pointing out using MGoblog to figure out opponents tendencies seems laughable when taking this into consideration. If all of the coaches are spending 5-6 hours a day and a fan finds something they dont then they wouldn't have their jobs.

On a different subject, how about lou holtz just picked michigan to win tomorrow? Thats funny. I dont ever remembering him picking us in big game like this.
November 19th, 2010 at 6:58 PM ^
(not sure Lou Holtthshs qualifies as an "analyst") who are picking Michigan. Makes me feel even less optimistic than I already am, which is not very. I'd much rather the entire world be picking against us.

that there are people who still assert that RR is "bad with the media" or "has problems with the media."
It's like looking at a dog and calling it a vacuum cleaner. What the hell are they seeing?
November 19th, 2010 at 7:19 PM ^
He doesn't have perpetual tensed jaw like he is trying to clear the pipes. He doesn't speak in ridiculous platitudes or pedestal himself by talking about God. He doesn't get into adolescent tit for tats with opposing players. He doesn't boast or take pot shots.
He basically acts like a normal adult comfortable in his own skin.
Half-ass fans want him to be as tipped over as they are.
November 19th, 2010 at 8:59 PM ^
Wow that punt at 2:19 almost hit RR. Wouldn't have wanted to be that guy.

Great to see Martin and Mouton back.
