Friday Pre-Sunrise Posbang
this is also so the vampires and zombies can get in on the posbang action, too, before sunrise.
I waited to have my coffee before the POSbang (no zombies!)
This is worth a watch if you're a fan of The Walking Dead. Fun to see Daryl get lit up!
Sunrise over the Atlantic from Normandy Beach.
Thank you to all that gave their lives to save the world.
Also thank you to all who have served.
For those interested, pretty awesome set of pictures showing the D-day beaches during the war and in present day:

Facinating how some look fairly simlar today.
It really is an amazing contrast between the sacrifices of the invasion forces and what the sacrifice led too. Like you said, not much seemed to change in the pictures as far as the buildings but a big change in the freedom those brave men brought to Europe.
Amazing pics - definitely on the bucket list to head over there to see the sights. Thanks to all the D-Day veterans for our freedom!
Never to early for a POSBANG!! Have a great friday everyone!! BANG BANG!!
Beautiful day here in the southland.
Out here on the West Coast I always feel like I'm late for the Pos Bang. Help me out please!
Hail! Hail! Hail!
Sorry to see this week end! It was a nice ride.
Looking forward to my first beer this evening.
Well, in my case, the excuse is that I have already been up for about 90 minutes and am just getting ready to make the daunting 10-minute commute to my office.
This weekend promises to be a busy one - my daughter has a rehearsal for her dance show tonight, the actual performance is tomorrow afternoon and then Operation: Grapevine Death will be most of Sunday, assuming my wife doesn't insist on me being dragged to the splash pad at some point. Not that I mind that, of course, but in her mind - unlike my father's - family time does not involve being handed a saw and told to "trim that effing hedge".
Pre dawn? Bitch please- I live in the East. This time of year the sun rises at 4:58am and, I swear to god, you just start seeing it get lighter in the eastern horizon at 3:45
Here in Georgia it doesn't seem to get light out until about 5:45 or so, but when I lived in Wyoming it would be light out at 4:45am during the summer. It also wasn't so damn hot and humid.
Trip to Smoky Mountains this week with friends. Looking forward to the weekend!
Try this out. http://www.wearsvalleyziplines.com/
I've gone there a few times now and they're always adding new lines. One is 2,000' long, and they span over gaps between the hills. Good times!
Don't forget to stop in Gatlinburg for your free moonshine tastings! There are four places along the strip. It's not all that burn your throat out moonshine either...they have smooth stuff too.
The one microbrewery in Gatlinburg (also a location in Pigeon Forge) is Smoky Mountain Brewery...they have $2.50 pints from 4 - 7 PM. Have fun!
Ramsey Cascades is a nice hike in the smokys and the falls are beautiful.
Weekend starting in 50 min.
Going golfing for a bachelor party today.
I'm feeling skinny, Tony
You're feeling skinny? Not me.
It's Friday, bitches! Time to drop a little "No Tears" from Officespace.
Both of my grandfathers, one a Michigan graduate, were at Normandy 70 years ago today.
I am headed to Denver to catch 3 games at Coors Field for the weekend.
I would just like to offer this advice: never date a girl that's going through a divorce and has two kids, you'll have ulcers and you'll end up bald.
But FUCK IT, IT's FriDAY!
Are you the reason for the divorce... If you are you deserve the going bald!
NO! I am not the reason for the divorce! I met her when they were legally seperated and it's one of those frusturating, we like each other alot, but a good relationship is tough right now,but lets fight through it kind of thing.
I did the same thing, my fiancé was going through a divorce with one kid, it was though for a few years. We have since had a child together and we are getting married next year!
Worth it
Tired of filling out job applications. So repetitive. So draining. Glad to see you, Friday!
But when it leads you to a great job, it will have been worth it. Good hunting!
job are you looking for?
everyone. Out at 3 today, riding the Harley to GR for an awesome weekend with Ms. ND Sux.
The distance sux but after 10 years, the relationship still has that new feel.
Bowling in a tournament tonight and going to a retirement party tomorrow........ Let the beer flow like wine.
Bang for the people who are in Finland and thus have been up for 8 hours already! (I am, if that wasn't clear).
But then I thought, "I'm married. Who am I kidding?" I'll just watch Pikachu instead.
It's weird. When I was first married, I could wake my wife up early for some fun. Now she guards her fun zones like fort Knox.
an Oceans Eleven on the Mrs.
I pretend to be George Clooney or just hire him to take care of the Mrs. for the evening?
have to break into the fort.
"Off the top of my head, I'd say you're looking at a Boeski, a Jim Brown, a Miss Daisy, two Jethros and a Leon Spinks, not to mention the biggest Ella Fitzgerald ever".
Last time I tried to get a predawn bang, my wife was like:
Enjoying this morning with a cup of coffee and hanging out with my 6 week old son. I'm also celebrating having lost 65 lbs so far this year and having lowered my blood pressure from astronomical/dangerous to perfect. Happy Friday folks!
Congrats! Keep up the good work.
That is awesome!
I lost about 50 lbs three years ago and while I've gained about 20 back, it's been in lean muscle mass. I can still fit into a pair of pants with a 32" waist, but - wow - are those suit jackets getting tight across the shoulders and chest!
Keep up the good work. The most important word of advice I can give you: don't - under any circumstances - think you can coast for a while. From here on out, you're running to stand still. You'll begin to notice the effects of poor diet and exercise within a few days.
What makes your accomplishment even more impressive is that you've accomplished this in the land of Krispy Kreme, BoJangles, Chik-fil-A, and countless "meat and 3s" littering Georgia, a state where mac and cheese is considered a vegetable.
Keep up the good work - it helps to be fit when you've got kids, along with nearly every other aspect of your life!
