Was supposed to take yesterday and today off but client issues blew that idea out of the water. So, I will need a healthy balance in my posbank to keep my wife happy. She will be making large withdrawals.

I have the day off today, I'm about to spend it doing important things like playing Madden online and smoking a bunch of really sick weed. Tonight I'm going to watch my #3 ( In Division 4) ranked Cadillac Vikings take on Comstock Park in a first round playoff matchup. Going to be a great day!

My girlfriend and I both have the day off today (well, I sort of do...), last night was the first of our three consecutive nights of bar Halloween parties. She has a costume she put pretty serious work into and wants to win things (which she did last night), good thing because I can envision exactly zero other circumstances under which she'd countenance going to bars three nights in a row lol. And she's promised that the latter half of Saturday afternoon is mine. GO BLUE!!!*

*Seriously, please, GO BLUE. Indiana is the only B1G team left against whom Michigan has a lengthy win streak (last loss 1987). How sad is THAT?

I have a thick porterhouse to pan fry and finish in the oven.  I'll do a pan sauce with some dried morels I picked in the Spring, some stock, wine, rosemary, mustard, a little garlic and butter.  Garlicy mashed potatoes and parsnips.  Roasted brussels sprouts with bacon grease.  Probably a Cotes du Rhone to start and maybe a Chateauneuf du Pape with the steak if I can find a decent one that doesn't require a mortgage, significant research time, or both.  This will get me banged.
