I woke up this morning with whatever cold has been going around, so I shall be doing things from home today when I have lucid moments. I am not even sure where this one came from - between having my car in the shop twice (although only for about an hour or so each time) and meetings, I could have some rare, exotic strain of rhinovirus. 

Speaking of my car, I've spent parts of the week - both in my driveway and at the shop - fiddling around with coolant system issues. We've basically eliminated everything but a blown head gasket (new thermostat, rad cap, no evidence of leaks in the heater core, etc...), although the big sign that it fully hosed - oil and coolant mixing - is currently not happening. The seal could still go, of course, or be in the process of going, especially if the problem with hot spots creeps into view again. Time will tell.

So, yeah, not feeling well and with a possibly expensively hobbled car, I need the posbang.

I took a look myself the other day and there was no weeping from a bad seal that I could find and the bearing and bearing assembly still checked OK. I've got a spare and might replace it anyway though (108,000 miles, after all). Running fine for the moment - as of last night anyway.

By far my favorite Disney movie.

Sigh, last week of HS football, no playoffs this year, its always fun but glad its over. I need to rest up for wrestling season.
