Friday Posbang!

One degree outside and our apartment building's boiler is out. This is one Friday I'm actually glad to be at work.

I'm spending my Friday working a doubleheader of baseball. Good thing our press box is heated. It's actually going to hit about 40 here.

Late for the posbang.

Hoping that my coughing, hacking, sneezing, nose-blowing work colleagues don't infect me with the plague that's been going around.

It's Friday, which means another weekend of studying. I can't wait to be done with school and start making some real money.

I'm just enjoying my Friday simply because IU lost in Assembly Hall last night.

hi gang.  wanted to reply at the top but the screen goes blank every time i try.  and then there's the triple post thing.  yeesh.   for anyone interested, now the rest of the story re:  -30 and power outage.

it actually got to -30.5 by the time i was headed to the township hall (i'm the township trustee) to open it for any of the residents who lost power.   apparently a power pole got hit and it's still out but its now confined to a few square miles which in our area means dozens and dozens of homes, as opposed to thousands.   should've sent a bat light request to LSA to get the power on since it still hasn't been fixed.  our genny is running strong but i have the wood stove lit and keeping us warm just in case.  the temps have rocketed up to, like 11 or 12.  what's next, beach wear?
