FRIDAY POSBANG

Submitted by TheFugitive on

It's Friday, you know what that means: Assume the position and take your POSBANG like a man.  See you cowards at the game tomorrow

For those who say "It's too early!", I hope you meet a similar fate

I'm going down to Dayton tomorrow.  The US Air Force Museum is putting on a World War I Aerial demonstration.  It sounds interesting and I hope that I get some good pictures out of it.

Apparently, I made the Red Cedar Message Boards.  The blog I shoot Eastern pictures posted an article talking about the current state of Football for the two big programs of Michigan.  I made the mistake of saying it's all cyclical.  Well, I had my old profile picture there (and yes, I have a weight problem), so the jokers there had to have their little fun.  I'd make a stink, but it is tucked away in the bowels of that place.

So I hope that MIchigan has a good game tomorrow.

There was an old PC flight simulator called Red Baron that I used to love.

I liked being a German pilot, except for trying to survive 1917 using an Albatros DIII against Spads and Camels until the Fokker D7 was released.

FWIW It was impossible to fight Manfred Von Richtofen when he was flying the Dr1.  The turn radius was so tight that he would snipe you as you blew by him in a faster plane.  Can see why it took 6 aces to shoot down Werner Voss while he was flying a Dr1.

One of my roommates had that on his Amiga (if that doesn't date me, I'm not sure what will).  I never played it but it looked kind of cool.  The game I missed was one called F-14 Fleet Defender.  That was the first flight game I got where I actually felt like I was flying a plane.

This is my first time embedding a video on MGoBlog.  For this special occasion, I wanted to find something uplifting with positive associations that would take our attention away from the current program malaise.

How did I do?

If I do, I'm moving back to Chicago.

If I don't, I may transfer to Chicago office.

Or if I don't, I'm staying here in Scottsdale and pretending I never heard that.

I should not have worn a pink shirt to work:
