Founders Double Trouble and then switching gears to Hendricks and soda on the patio.
alternate headline: man does job
Founders Double Trouble and then switching gears to Hendricks and soda on the patio.
Cheers to your fine beer selection.
25? All I can say is live it up the next 5-7 years. After that, shit gets real.
As for me, having some Brewery Vivant Zaison and Founders Double Trouble.
You like Vivant stuff? I can't get into it. Nice choice with the Double Trouble!
The Vivant stuff is hit-and-miss. Not as "belgiany" as I would like, but it's serviceable. Founders, however, rules.
Agreed! Someone tried to get me into that Reserve one with raisins...not a fan.
I'm enjoying some Founders Red's Rye PA.
Love Reds Rye...cheers!
Find me a Founders beer that isn't fantastic. I'm sitting on a bottle of KBS. We'll see how long I can hold out.
They come out with the Big Red Coq (weird name, I know) soon, that's their best beer.
That's some good stuff. I like the Solitude, myself.
You'll pay through the nose, but it's worth it.
Cabernet Sauvignon. I feel like that puts me in a minority.
I have some Paulaner lined up in the fridge and I am about to get settled in with Tiger baseball and occasional reading of and sniping at the Fake Jim Leyland account on Twitter. Good way to close out a Friday night.
Went to the Paulaner brewery in Munich.... gooooooood shit...
and now they have it at Costco, too haha
Costco is the best spot for Oktoberfests - they have Spaten, Hofbrau and Hacker-Schorr in cases for pretty cheap!
In the Atlanta airport. Lube for a late night flight.
Cheap Chardonnay...I like wine in the spring and summer. Plus I'm saving the Heavy Seas Dubbel Cannon for tomorrow's Rangers game.
Redbull and Vodka in downtown Reykjavik Iceland.
Watching the Sox, drinking nutrient enhanced water on the rocks. Going through a health period. I miss the booze.
Three Floyds Gumballhead, Shandy and maybe a little wine later.
I just got off work and I'm waiting to see if a friend is coming over, she said yes earlier but she's really frustrating about making plans.
@ Wolverine Brewing Co. drinking some Gulo Noir (an India dark lager), but this jazz band here is way overusing the xylophone so I think it's time to head downtown...
Vestiges of a bottle of Ezra b bourbon. When it expired, I will crack the makers 46.
Drinking while watching avengers . America!
Laying in bed drinking Skeeter Blood (Home made pink lemonade wine)
AP Bio is a terrible course...
We bio teachers love me to make it hard.
The AP course has an unrealistic amount of information that is expected to be covered throughout the year.
/ I hate studying
Theres just so much information for the AP Test. I knew less than 60% of it, but still got a 4. Just know the important stuff really well.
The problem with AP bio is that it requires a fair amount of basic recall of facts and conceptual knowledge, very low level thinking. This is very different than AP chem or physics. In those subjects the level of questioning is at a higher level of analysis and judging.
Stoudts Double IPA. Yummy...
Had gummi worms soaked in tequila... pretty nasty. I'm back to beer but that tequila taste just will not go away.
If you use vodka they taste good.
Water... I have to run 16 miles tomorrow in GR.
If anybody else is running the 5/3 25K they are NOT having GU at the aid stations so bring your own or crash and burn.
Thank you, Sir. One foot in front of the other...
That's how that goes?
I suddenly understand my struggles with distance running.
Good luck, buddy. Good seeing you this morning.
/I really had breakfast with him in real life
I love you. Deep down in my plumbs.
Who actually uses gu for a 16 mile race. Physiology you should not need to replenish glucose until you hit at least 20 miles.
Don't be a dick!
I throw down one after mile 6 and then one at about mile 10-11. It gives you a little boost and something to look forward to. Oooh a piece of candy.
IMAX 3D Avengers later
Enjoy the movie. It really is a fun movie. Stay for the first after credits clip, but the second was pretty meh, IME.
Second clip was the funniest part of the movie. It was totally Joss Whedon.
I guess I don't know directors outside of Spielberg and that guy who did Avatar and stuff... I just thought it was a long time to wait for that. Of course I had a drunk, obnoxious, trying-too-hard-to-impress-his-girlfriend teenager sitting next to me and it made for a fist clenching time in general. Great movie though.
I had to leave right after the movie to get my son to lax practice.
My kids' soccer practice..going to Islands..gonna have an Islands IPA. Below standard for IPA, but its something.
Already put down a six pack of #9 with my steak and ribs on the grill......slowing down now. Might finish the night with a stiff Jamison!
my new go to.
Drinking Farmers Union Iced Coffee here in Adelaide. It's still noon. I believe some XXXX gold is in my future though.
Always make them with the mint grown in the garden now.....they tend to get the wife tipsy too. Can't go wrong with that!
ATL has the best ones
Was at the Derby last weekend and had a few. Was incredibly dissapointed. For the home of the mint julep, they sure don't know how to make a mint julep.
Jolly Pumpkin Cazabala Blanca
Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar
Stoudt's imperial Oatmeal Stout
Keystone light bc I'm classy...and in college.
As suggested last time I chimed in on a drinking thread, Glenfiddich. Pricy but always worth it, and now that I have a jerb a little splurge is in order.
If you like Glenfiddich, try:
Remind me again when it's time for a new bottle. This one just got opened tonight.
I'd like to be drinking a Maharajah and eating some smokin' hot vindaloo. But I'm not.
watching the wife pack for a trip. bought to push her out the damn door.
not totally sure why, but couldn't help but laugh out loud reading this.....my wife actually asked: "what's so funny in your fantasy world." She figures I'm checking fantasy baseball...
Loose Cannon IPA. My springtime IPA. Hops and more hops.
Cracked my 2 year old Heavy Seas Hang Ten and now I'm on to some Maker's Mark on the rocks.
Trying very hard not to indulge in a bottle of Stone Old Guardian...
and jagerbombs! If that runs out before I passes out iv got some rum in the cupboard.
Just got home from work and the girlfriend had a six pack of Burning River and Dortmunder Gold for me (screw ohio in general but I love Great Lakes Brewing CO.), i'll probably be forced to watch Smash or something of that general variety for it but it should be a nice relaxing night.
Watching a man dressed like Evel Knievel throw flour in the face of a bald man wearing clown pants.
From Rockslide Brewery, Grand Junction CO
Catching up on some The Walking Dead, drinking some Oberon. I wish everyone would stop being so stupid in the show. See: Lori leaving alone and almost dying, Daryl leaving alone and almost dying, etc etc.
Lori and Carl can both jump off a bridge. Idiots.
I agree. Just leave em to die
I'll take Lori anytime. Smokeshow.
Met up with a couple buddies at Ashley's and had Lagunitas Lucky 13, Short's Soft Parade, and a Founders Dirty Bastard. That's Founders Dirty ******* to you RDT.
Back at the house now watching the Tigers trying to determine what to drink now. Founders Imperial Stout, Hopslam, and I think there's something else too. Wishing I had some college football to wake up to tomorrow. Go Blue!
At work until midnight. The Pepsi is smooth tonight boys...
Watching the Los Angeles Floppers face the Grizzlies.
You know you're King of the forest when you can growl two crocs back into the water...
Water baby! And watching the season finale of Fringe!!
I wasn't to thrilled. At the water or the finale
finishing up Mad Men season 4...this show is addictive
Sampler pack and Breaking Bad season 2.
sometimes i suspect that my HS chem teacher was a drug dealer and a two faced bitch too
After Sopranos, probably the best series I have seen.
on your queue too...24 and FNL are my fav all time shows. It's also interesting to see the transition from a pro-style to spread offense at the high school level one of the seasons lol
I've read FNL, which was great and unflinching in its storytelling. I've been hesitant to watch the show since it's on a major network - thought they might relax some of the realties too far...
Drinking some Blue and watching the Tigers, who are losing 4-2 in the top of the 5th
The Tribe already lost today to the Red Sox. Tigers have a golden opportunity to move to 1 game back, but sucking on the road trip doesn't really do much good. Either way, it should be a great stretch run (unless the Indians fall apart like last year). Go Tribe!
The end of the pen and offense have killed us most games this season. I knew the middle of the pen might be an issue but not Papa. Also, the bats only seem to come out once a week or so right now, which is hurting a lot.
is starting pitching. Masterson hasn't been terrific this year, Ubaldo's continuing his slow slide into mediocrity, and both Jeanmar Gomez and Josh Tomlin have been lit up as of late. The pen (at least Hagadone, Sipp, Pestano, and Chris "Wild Thing" Perez) has been solid. But it's tough when the starter goes 4 and 2/3 and gives up 6 runs.
Has 8 RBIs against us in not even two full games, i think he is loving playing against Detroit.
Bells Oberon.. Great summer beer
finished my bottle of jameson and now on to jim beam.
Drinking Fess Parker's Frontier Red.
...yes I bought it because there's a picture of Daniel Boone on the bottle.
Anyone else here a mate drinker? Mate and foozball, an eclectic night for sure.
just hit another home run. Screw drinking, I'm going straight to heroin
It would appear that no team won the Perry for Balester deal.
trading a below average pitcher for a below average pitcher, especially since Balester doesn't have any options
Opened the cabin tonight with Oberon and a bonfire
That's how you do it right there. I can't wait to be on the lake in 2 weekends!
