Friday Night Drinking
Because nobody had created one already.
Me, I'm doing just a little bit of work and sipping on a Beefeater Martini. Problem is, I'm now out of vermouth. Next one will have to be sweet or EXTRA dry. Hmmm...
thinking about Naked Pig Pale Ale. Anybody tried that yet? by the way the Sam Adams is a sipper for me 9.5%. some Folgers French roast for me after this SA
Miller Lite.
I'm drinking very good margaritas at a fancy tapas restaurant in the Polanco neighborhood of Mexico City........actually, why am I on MGoBlog right now?
Pretty delicious, I might add. Any other good porters/stouts I am missing out on?
dude, this alone could be it's own thread
hopefully it will generate some good responses then.
There is a porter at the old whole foods on washtenaw called Moa that is aged in pinot noir barrels, very good
Unfortunately it will likely be hard for me to find in West Texas. I will search, though.
The Rogness OST Porter I mentioned above is from Pfugerville, TX and is pretty good. Has a bitter back-end which I like but might not be for everybody.
I also enjoy Anchor Porter, Sierra Nevada Porter, Breckinridge Vanilla Porter, Stone Smoked Porter, Boulevard Bully! Porter, and Leinenkugel Snowdrift Vanilla Porter. Those are ones that I've enjoyed that can be found relatively easily in Central Texas (well maybe not Bully! but the others might be available in Lubbock).
Sam Adams makes a good maple pecan porter (not sure of availability). If you ever make it out to Denver, Denver Beer Co makes a kick-ass Graham Cracker Porter (medaled at GABF). Mountain Sun Brewery does a killer Java Porter as well.
anything by Dark Horse
picture and it made me laugh.
Ayinger Celebrator. Chasing down one of my few Two Hearted.
Watching Bering Sea Gold.
Founders Old Dirty Bastard Scotch Ale. Drink local.
Starbuck Doubleshot. Hoping not to fall asleep holding one of the twins. If
you drank your own urine?
C'mon people, how does this inquiry go ignored?!
But a can of warm Keystone Light had to be close.
I get drunk off my own urine.
I am from the mitten, and sooo Smitten!

and my barber gave me a fifth of Du Bouchett Blackberry Brandy. Enjoying on the rocks. Watching the Dark Knight Rises. Slow evening. Nice. Great barber.
I'd like an appointment daily. Please and thank you.
I am also indulging in a little Greenbush, from Sawyer, MI. Careful, its namesake, is it's due diligence.
