Friday Night Drinking Thread

Submitted by ToDefyTheFrizzleFry on
So what's everyone drinking tonight? I'm having a Creature Comforts Tritonia right now. It's a cucumber and lime gose and it is delicious. Will turn to random cans of Bearded Iris after. Watching Vandy in their super regional against Oregon St. Go Dores!

They don't really drink so raided their "cabinet" and found some Castillo White. Kind of resembles a Bacardi and Diet so OK by me and the wife. Go Cavs.

Eagle Rare on the rocks followed by a Hennessy Pure White on the rocks. Should have had the latter neat as it's not nearly as good on the rocks.

just finished reading a whole bunch of our present family book to the youngest 6 kids around the dinner table  (yes, we eat way late).  oldest graduated h.s. tonight, i'll spare all the humblebrag about grades/SAT's, and just focus on the fact that it was inside a completely non-ventilated gym, stiflingly hot and stuffy.

we homeschool but wife deserves all the credit for that.  as the kids get older, and primarily because we are such a sports family, we let the kids take a course or two at the local government school so they can play sports.  Next in Line is now a Junior, Too.  and after that a freshman, and after that, well, you get the picture.

and she's not D-1 caliber.   that said, i have no concerns in my mind that all of the children no matter where they go to school will be die hard, rock-ribbed maize and blue supporters their entire lives.  no doubts whatsoever.  in fact, i think their fandom exceeds mine.

Started with a Modern Times Fortunate Islands whole the grill got started...popped an Apple Brandy Noir while waiting and prepping food and god I love these Prairie stouts. And now the newest New Glarus release R&D Sour Porter. It's good...but, it's a sour porter. Decent. Next is a BA Barleywine (Lervig baby).
