Not a warm day here in AA - still a good time to have a drink after a long week.
Ready to say "Hello" tomorrow?
To say hello now. Hello!
Nice bum, where ya' from?
Probably going to drink a couple New Belgium Shifts later. Taking it easy tonight in preparation for an all day crawfish boil and alcohol binge tomorrow.
Yessssssir. Crawfish boils are my new favorite southern tradition. Get ya some corn, potatoes, and sausage all cooked up in the pot... That's some good eatin' brother.
Shrimp and 'shrooms too!
Lots of crawdaddys in Michigan rivers!
Porch rocker after a little Moosejaw Brown Ale by Petoskey brewing company.
This is a late drinking thread, but better late than never. Singlecut Brewery in Astoria. Half Stack IPA and a blues band. It was just about 70 in NYC today, and I witness an accident between a car carrier and a Ford Escape. Guess who won.
My guess is your car was the real winner.
Oberon. But I wish I had a dunkel.
I have some Jim Beam devils cut with Mt Dew tonight.
Lol. I really hope you're underage.
on recruiting like I should? Who might commit tomorrow?
I'm wondering the same.
I'm guessing OP thinks Malzone will drop assuming he gets his offer tomorrow?
HELLO, Uncle Leo
I restocked my bar today. I'm doing some Grand Marnier right now. I don't think I've ever had anything like it before. It's less like a spirit than a dessert.
when I was living in Vail... wicked hangover
It is called Grama!
Always a good time to have a drink. I just finished a margarita in celebration of Dos de Mayo.
So far tonight: A PseudoSue from Toppling Goliath, an up and coming brewery in Iowa. By up and coming, I mean they're making some world class beers, no hypberbole. Also, from Iowa, a local brewery made Oak-Barrel aged Stout.
Watching the Pens head into Overtime with the Rangers. Go Pens.
Bell's Amber Ale
Not too much going on here right now - I am nursing a Sam Adams White Lantern and watching some Tigers baseball, so it is a nice, quiet evening here at the old homestead. As for saying "Hello", I am never averse to a good "Hello" post, but like others, I was curious as to what the OP may have heard or if perhaps it was simply a heads up that out-of-town friends shall be dropping by or something like that.
Hello? Is it me your looking for?
Coke. Studying blows.
Remove one little letter from the end of that sentence and the whole post changes...
I assume you meant your doing cocaine in order to study ??? Maybe not ?
Knob Creek Smoked Maple. Damn it's good.
Grow a pair
School does seriously suck. Thankfully it's my last school exam ever
Tried my first snakebite. Not a fan.
Think of it this way, it's probably also your last!
Aberlour A'bunadh. Neat, of course.
Too close for missiles, switching to Ardbeg.
All Day IPA 15 pack and the Tigers game!!!

Former U of M wrestling star Joe Warren is fighting for the Bellator Bantamweight Championship right now live on Spike TV just as an FYI.
Edit: Congrats to Joe. Just became the first fighter ever to win belts in multiple weight classes at Bellator. Not bad for a kid from Grand Rapids.
Floyd Mayweathrr Jr. is from there too
And Buster Mathis, Jr.
all the other fine boxers that GR has produced:
-Buster Mathis, Sr.: Fought for the World Heavyweight Championship twice, losing to two of the Heavyweight division's all-time greatest, Joe Frazier and Muhammad Ali.
-The rest of the Mayweather boxing family: Floyd Sr., Roger, and Jeff. Floyd Sr. fought (and lost to) Sugar Ray Leonard for the Welterweight crown, his two brothers each won championships in various divisions.
-The legendary Stanley Ketchel. Known as "The Michigan Assassin", Middleweight Champ in the early 1900's, fought and nearly beat the famous heavyweight champ Jack Johnson in 1909. Murder victim a year later, his story is one of the most fascinating in boxing history. Google it to see what i mean...
"Talk Like A Pirate Day" is still 4 1/2 months away (Septembrrr 19th), it's good to see you arrr preparrring for it.
Double Jameson on the rocks.
