Boom Goes the …

is just terrible because sparty looks awfully tough.  Was expecting a ho hum offense and some big plays against their D but they look like they haven't missed a step from last the end of last year

In all reality, they're doing what a top 10 team should do against schools like jax state. Beating that ass! Is anyone really surprised? Did anyone really think there was going to be huge upset in East Lansing tonight?

I really don't understand why teams from power conferences play these games.  How is this helping anyone get better?

JSU was a vastly better team than Appalachian State last year---11-4 and in the quarterfinals versus 4-8--and are supposed ro be better this year.   This only makes Brandon's whim to play AppState all the more ridiculous.

Transitioning to 1-A is a red herring.  App State didn't suddenly get an influx of talent within the past 12 months to compensate for being a markedly inferior team to Jacksonville State last year--who also has 15 starters back from last year. Take your blinders off.  App State was horrible.

So, that was something of a lackluster first half from the Huskies - they gave up 329 yards to BYU, 28 points and 7.48 yards per play on average. For their considerably stunted offensive effort, 158 yards on only 31 plays, which comes out to about 5.10 yards per play. Taysom Hill is coming up big here, comprising about 70% of BYU's yards gained right now.

Sparty might not be top 5 in the country, but they're top 20 easily, and this is what a team like that should do, at home, to a bottom-dweller. We should dominate this way tomorrow, perhaps with a few less points.

Wow, these calls are so bad. JSU would still be getting their ass kicked, but these horrendous calls aren't helping anyone. PR TD (or at least a decent return) just got called off for a BS "signal".

If you were Hoke and we are up 38-0 at the half tomorrow, how long would you keep the starters playing considering you have ND the following week?
