Friday Drinking Thread
Well, it's certainly drinking time in my corner of the globe, and luckily I have a couple of beers worth bragging about.
First up is a Gouden Carolus, Tripel Abbey style (Belgian) . It's basically a light malted lager on steroids and packs a punch at 9%
My finishing beer is one I've never had before, the Trappistes Rochefort #6 - another Belgian. This one is a true trappist beer, and if you can ever get your hands on some, it is a must try. It is perfectly balanced with a sweet finish. The taste truly mask the stout 7.5%.

Coronado Brewing, Ballast Point, Karl Strauss, or Modern Times on my bike ride home today. Yeah, it's tough to be a beer drinker in San Diego.

In Laguna Beach? or a hotel? We just spent a weekend at Surf n Sand, and it was phenomenal! Felt like I flew to some dreamland--but it was just a short drive up the 5.

Found a friend talking to a fire after eating some shrooms. Apparently he couldn't use his arms either. It was awesome.
The first time I ate shrooms in college I talked to a sidewalk for 30 minutes. Deep stuff, too.
But drinking a Lagunitas "Censored" copper ale. Pretty good, and yes my company is awesome that they let us drink in office around 3 every Friday.

Tonight is the traditional beer and pizza night around here, so Jet's it is and some Franziskaner Weissbier to go with it. To boot, I am sitting out here on the patio because it is a beautiful evening here and I need some time to just chill after a rather hectic week of doing my work plus the work of two people on vacation.
Bought a mix and match six pack at my beer store last night going to finish off the last three, oddside ales pineapple ipa, shorts brewing Mmmmkay and Alaskan brewing co. Hop thermia.
Can I start drinking now?? sweet! I just hit Bevmo to stock up on IPA's...can't be runnin low.
So, I think I'll just start with a Stone Go To IPA, since I'm still doing desk work.
