Freshman numbers (so far) *updated

Erik Magnuson took a picture of his new Michigan locker on June 22, which incidentally had his number on it.

He will be wearing No. 78.

I figured a lot of the incoming freshman who have similarly found out their numbers would have updated that info on their twitter profiles, so I did some "research." Lo and behold, here's what the twitterverse says so far:

Offense:

  • OT Erik Magnuson -- No. 78
  • OL Kyle Kalis -- No. 67
  • OL Dan Gibbs -- No. 79
  • OL Ben Braden -- No. 62
  • OL Blake Bars -- No. 71
  • RB Dennis Norfleet -- No. 26 (Dileo is wearing No. 9)
  • RB Drake Johnson -- No. 29
  • FB Sione Houma -- No. 39
  • TE AJ Williams -- No. 84
  • TE Devin Funchess -- No. 19
  • WR Amara Darboh -- No. 82
  • WR Jehu Chesson -- No. 86
  • WR Bo Dever -- No. 3

Defense:

  • DT Ondre Pipkins -- No. 56
  • DT Willie Henry -- No. 69
  • DE/DT Matt Godin -- No. 99 (Thanks mgouser Denarded)
  • DE Chris Wormley -- No. 43
  • DE Mario Ojemudia -- No. 53
  • DE Tom Strobel -- No. 50
  • LB Joe Bolden -- No. 35
  • LB Kaleb Ringer -- No. 49
  • LB Royce Jenkins-Stone -- No. 52
  • LB James Ross -- No. 15
  • CB Terry Richardson -- No. 13
  • S Jarrod Wilson -- No. 22
  • S Allen Gant -- No. 12
  • S Jeremy Clark -- No. 34

Special Teams

  • P Kenny Allen -- No. 91

And bonus pics:

Seth will have a post about it once all the numbers get revealed.

This is yet another sign that we are inching towards the season, and as thrilled as that makes me despite having to muddle through July and August first, I bet this is a great moment for all these kids as it is probably just that much more real to them now that they'll be playing for Michigan.
