Free water bottles at the Big House for everyone!

The first 25,000 fans get commemerative bottles and everyone else gets regular ones. I think this is a fantastic response by the athletic department to help alleviate some of the fears folks have.

I hope they put in a Recycling Station

They already have them. In fact, there are 250 of them. In fact, they are mentioned in the article. >_<

Michigan fans are recycling champions. At least, that's what I'm told by the big voice in the sky during every game.

The Legend grows. Being in Ann Arbor, I would count on major RAGE if recycling wasn'y easily available.

Except it's only for the first game. /sad face

...but they are still giving out cups of water at every concession stand at every game. I only hope they don't do the "oh sure yeah, here, have a kiddie cup of water" shtik. We want to be able to watch the game, not stand in line for water all afternoon!

That's exactly what they are doing, the cups are 9oz.

Yeah, except aren't those guys Ohio State fans?

Great idea, but wont that cause lines to get in be slower and thus the point of the ban

Even if they do, we'll all easily be distracted by FREE COMMEMORATIVE WATER BOTTLES OMG!!!!!11!!

In the article, it explains that the bottles will be given away inside the stadium so as to keep the lines moving into the stadium. I like the idea by Brandon, and I hope im one of the first 25,000 fans. If the cups inside the stadium are a decent size, then the ban of water bottles isn't a big deal in my book.

Can't imagine the cost of a water "bottle" is significantly more than water cups. Hopefully this will prove to be a raging success and continue for all games for years to come.
