I believe it will be a tough game, but this ass hat Aram Tolegian is a douche. I love this comment,
"It's just simply ranked higher because its record forced the pollsters hands. Michigan State is a team that's getting better week after week. If you compare their games against ND, Michigan State actually grades better because the Spartans were on the road, blew many opportunities and didn't have the zebras clearly on their side as Michigan did when it hosted Notre Dame in Week 2."
So we only won, because we had the refs in our back pocket. Right. Think he might be a State fan?

How do you grade better if you blew more opportunities? that argument is rediculous and tantamount to "if my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle." fortunately this game is played in 3 hours.

so losing 3 straight games (including to central at home) means you grade out better than a team that's 4-0? and last i checked the refs have been bad for BOTH teams in every game we've played thus far. people need to come off that

>Michigan State is a team that's getting better week after week.
I said earlier this week, that sparty is the best looking 1-3 team in the nation. This writer only reinforce that thought.
Enough of the talk...bring on the game.

"Let's be honest, Michigan's win over Notre Dame (its only claim to fame this season) looks worse every week"
Any idiot who knows anything about this season can understand that, yes, ND is average without Floyd - but with Floyd they are a completely different team. No team after us saw a completely healthy Floyd for an entire game. That's like saying Oklahoma is nothing special this season because Bradford is gone.

how the heck is MSU is getting better when they were blown out by wisconsin? They are getting worse.

Week 1 (MTST): +41
Week 2 (CMU): -2
Week 3 (ND): -3
Week 4 (UW): -8
Trend?

I love those that get paid to do a shitty job.

Don't sweat this guys opinion. Fox is not a name known for journalistic integrity. We'll see what happens on the field in a few hours

To myself: "It's a sports blog. It's a sports blog. Don't say anything about politics. Just relax..."

Michigan is only ranked higher because they win football games.
Michigan State is getting better because they sometimes appear that they *could* win.
Michigan's best win is over a team that beat Michigan State.
Therefore, Michigan State > Michigan.
Sounds to me like Mr. Tolegian got his degree from ________ State (you can fill in the blank--I see two possible options).

"Let's be honest, Michigan's win over Notre Dame (its only claim to fame this season) looks worse every week"
This has logic fail all over it - we are only 4 games into the season!! How many "claims to fame" do any teams have at this point? One at the most, with the rare exception. I really want to see us shut everyone up today. Come on MINOR RAGE!!

He appears to be from SoCal; was a staff writer for the San Gabriel Valley Tribune before moving to Fox Sports. But his main gig is Major League Baseball and "occasional college football contributor", so he must be a fill-in because somebody is out sick.

This is why I hate so many sportswriters and sports announcers. They are simply incapable of using their brains and checking their facts. For instance, the foot out-of-bounds was the RIGHT CALL. It has been confirmed via video evidence since the game ended. Aside from that, how about we take a look at the fact that Brandon Graham is being held to the ground by every DL this year, or even better, the AWFUL PI calls that we've been getting pretty much every game. Enough with the Weis-inspired BS about Michigan receiving favoritism from the officials.
