Fox Sports 1 Tom Brady interview today

Submitted by UMgradMSUdad on

I see that Fox Sports 1 is running an interview of Tom Brady with Michael Strahan today at 2:30. I'll be interested to see What Fox's analysis of college football looks like. I think much of the country is tired of the ESPN cheerleading for the SEC, and any counter balance to that will be welcome.

You can figure out what channel it's broadcast on in your area here:

Really want this work... I'm absolutely sick of ESPN and Sportscenter.  If they can cut back on the NASCAR and UFC, and show more baseball and sometime in the future, hockey, they can be very successful.

Edit: The fact that I had no idea that Charlie Manuel was fired until right now just proves how bad ESPN is doing.

I used to WANT to watch Sportscenter and would leave it on and watch it over and over again. Now most of it is garbage and I actually rarely put it on. It's sad honestly. I miss those days of just highlight after highlight of basically every game that day.

I've come to the conclusion that it isn't ESPN that sucks (though I stick to ESPN.com for news and don't watch their crap) its that no one is particularly good at doing sports TV. Of course, I am probably jaded by a cetain show being cancelled.

I'm convinced that part of the problem is that ESPN has had a monopoly.  If Fox and another network or two start providing some competition just maybe some of the programming will improve.

And bringing some sanity to national sports coverage lie with the network that pioneered animated jumping robots during football games.

Oh well, guess I can avoid them both and spend more time here. Not sure how I will ever know what Lebron is thinking in the middle of August or which athlete is the most NOW.

Yes, they were showing "The game" on one of the alternate channels.

It's okay so far. It'll really get better once the UFC fight starts. They have the rights to college football, as well as Big East basketball.

So....watching their CFB preview, and honestly I liked it. Decent non SEC heavy cast with Eddie George, Petros, Joel Klatt, and everyone's favorite official Mike Peierria (sp?).

Andrews is what she is and will always be on tv. I'm also looking forward to their pregrame show opposite Gameday.

If FS1 has a positive attitude about things, they'll go very far.

Part of ESPN's underlying problem is their reliance on stupidly contrarian opinion by unlikable people.  I don't know who actually wants to watch that kind of content, and apparently the rest of the country agrees.
