Submitted by tylers48 on

Subject pretty much sums it up. What does everyone have planned for the weekend? Awesome forecast for those of us lucky enough to be spending it in Michigan.

I'm spending a large portion of my Saturday cutting down a massive thorn bush that's hugging my girlfriend's shed. and drinking water. Lots of water.

We are up along Long Lake near Harrison, MI in rather scenic northern Clare County. We were actually about to run into town to get some grilling supplies as the campground at least supplies the grill. We also have a brisket going, so we plan on eating well and, because I am now cleared to do so, I plan on a few beers.

episode finds themselves well enough to partake of whatever they wish this weekend. Good to know your mending well. This is one of the bad holidays for me. My son is on his way back to L.A., but I had him for a month. We hung out at Lake Michigan almost every day and began getting the house in order in hopes of a sale prior to the end of summer. Means I should do a bit of painting or something tonight just to keep the Mo moving

For all others, hope you mix your weekend of partying with just enough common sense to have a full house of healthy site members Monday morning. All of you, have a great holiday.

Back home in Alpena. Had lunch with the fam, and hitting up Austin Bros. brewery for dinner later with friends. Tomorrow it's a boat on Long Lake all damn day.

Happy 4th weekend everyone.

At my parent's condo in spring lake. I did my usual visit to Odd side in Grand Haven and went to Old Guys Brewing in Spring Lake.

I really like it but like the others say, it does taste a lot like apple juice. So if that's a turn off, you may want to try a different cider, like Angry Orchard, Strongbow or Woodchuck. I had to switch over to ciders and wine. Over the past year, I really struggled in handling the wheat and grains. :(

Headed to the Class A Bradenton Marauders (Pirates) vs. Charlotte Stone Crabs (Rays) game tonite with the wife and kiddos.  They are having fireworks after the game.  They have some decent conessions there including some craft beers from some breweries up in Pittsburgh.  Can just say NO to the shitty Bud products.
